XCadey Easton Cinch Interface

Hi all, I got a decent deal on an XCADEY Gen 2 PM, which I intended to pari with a ZRace Carbon crank which was also a great deal, and comes with an Easton Cinch interface. However, when I try to pair the two togther, the fit is too tight and the PM won't fit. Iv'e done some minor filing to both the inner part of the PM interface, and the outer part of the crank interface, but it's going to take quite a bit to get it to fit.

Anyone else had this issue? I know the PM is generally considered crap, but I didn't think I'd have fit issues. Cheers.

I have the combination of XMCS crank and Xcadey power gen 2. I have it since December 2025. All is working perfect. I did a series of comparison of Gen 2, around 3 weeks of testing. I compared favero assioma and elite justo. All is here on the forum. https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6884.msg101940.html#msg101940.

Regarding your question, one power meter was changed for me. I had movement on easton interface. I got another one, it was replaced, and then was very tight! It was almost unable to install it. I tried several times but on some position it worked. The most interesting part is that I started the comparison with standard round chainring, next I switched to Oval. For the round, the difference was for some part maximum around...2w, for the whole workout the readings were almost the same for both! After the re-installation and assembling the oval chainring, I started to have 10w difference. I added some examples. The other interesting thing, which should be checked is the reading and showing/displaying of the reading. As you can see below, the maximum was 1154 and 1167, garmins showed more than 1200w during and after the ride. I making the comparison on Fenix 8 and Edge 850.

My some small thoughts and comment on the end. I started the comparison with the confidence that it is a crap. Then the results were not bad, sometimes almost identical, I would say acceptable for amateur. Again I will underline, stable and fair for Gen 2, which I stated many times. Then I heard, only after 600w you will find some real results. I did a lot of workouts above 600w, didn't see anything unusual and strange. Then I heard, only above 1000w is a real problem. Okay, I thought I will have some sprints later so I will check this. I'm not a sprinter, so firstly I did some 1000w, 6 times, 8 times another day, no issues, then I had some 15-20s above 1000w with values above 1200w, the same situation.

He's not asking for your shill tests. He's talking about fit issues during assembly and you copying unrelated post like some bot. Give us a break. If this isn't shameless shilling then I don't know what is 🤣

I had a similar issue, but with the Thinkrider PP5 und a RIRO carbon crank.

It was not possible to mount the power meter to the crank arm, without the arm pushing against the body / housing of the power meter.
Due to the power meter body has a big edge right after the easton interface and the crank arm is pretty straight without an offset or bend in the length of it.

At the moment i'm on the cheap aluminium version of the crank set which was sold with the PP5, but that crankset is like a solid slab aluminium (heavy) and still flexy as hell...

But hey, for like 140€, I have now a shit power meter and a shit crank set...

I'm still in the state, if i really need a power meter at all, or switch back to the Riro one without one.

I will answer to you once, as I was thought that is not worthy to discuss with a sick people, with some mental problems, like for sure you have. Clearly you are some kind of stalker. I saw several your posts and answers here on the forum. You always offend people, your posts are mostly not related to the topic e.g. 3 chains. WTF men, you probably never ride on MTB bike, but you are an expert! You probably have a lot of complexes. It's not my/our problem, It's connected, I answered, even my one power meter was replaced, because it was too loose, was bad. You have it, you did a comparison or have some data, give a substantive commentary, show us. If not just don't read it.

Moreover, I will write it also once. I'm not paid, I'm not paying anything, I'm not buying anything on instagram. I'm collaborating with companies, sometimes I got product to test, sometimes I pay lower price, sometime full, it depends. I have very long relationship with some of them. Probably you are not aware that normal people, like me, total amateurs are testing the products. Lastly, I really have what to do in my private life. The most important is that I have no time for verifying all people who observe me or contact me, or write to me. I'm trying to be honest in my test, I only recommend the product I tested. That is all what I wanted to add.
