CSC Ultralight Gravel Wheelset

So I decided to give these a try. Just received them yesterday and took few pics for info. I am now waiting for new tires to come in to get everything set up. Out of the box these look pretty good.
Everything is within specs / measurements etc. Everything is nicely greased. Look true out of the box.
Came with spare spokes and tubeless tape.
The negative, they took a month to arrive.

I've ridden about 500km on the wheelset now and it's fantastic. I bought it with ceramic bearings and Pillar Aero Wing 20 spokes.
I'm using the Goodyear Vector XPLR, which is actually designed for the ZIPP 303 XLPR rims. 1.8 bar in the front and 1.9 bar in the rear, tubeless, works perfectly for me. Almost as fast as my road bike, but significantly more comfortable.

You have a lot fake stickers on that bike.

Unfortunately I had the star ratchet break apart during a gravel ride recently. It left me stranded 50km from town. Luckily I had a friend with me and I could still coast on the bike down hill.

I contacted CSC they were apologetic and sent a replacement kit ratchet, springs, spacers etc (should arrive this week).

I don’t trust their ratchets now so I’ve ordered ZTTO ratchet and gone for 18T so there’s more surface area for load transfer under torque.

Hopefully it’s just an isolated incident. The rims themselves are perfectly fine at this stage.

The feedback on AliExpress also mentions a defective ratchet. But if I counted correctly, that's a 54, so not the one he should have bought. This might also be the reason why he hasn't received a response from CSC. Another person reported a slipping freewheel. Perhaps too much grease and temperatures that were too cold were the cause. He replaced the ratchet with a DT Swiss one. CSC replied that the DT Swiss ratchet are not compatible. Does anyone know more?

I’ve got a CSC wheelset as well.
The ratchet broke down after not too much mileage (and I certainly don’t put too much torque on the bike).
Three teeth sheared off.
Will have to replace with a new ratchet. Will go with a 18 teeth as well.

Pretty "funny", had literally the same defect.

One tooth sheered off and then blocked the rest of the ratchet.. (work again once i removed the loose tooth)

Have replaced it with a ZTTO 60T ratchet now..

I’ve done about 500 - 600km since replacing the ratchet and the actual wheels have been very good. It’s a shame they’ve not changed the ratchets in these …
