Carbon gravel handlebar with flex
« on: April 29, 2026, 11:50:35 PM »
Hi! Could anybody recommend carbon integrated (stem and handlebar in one piece) gravel handlebar that have some flex on the hoods and drops? It must have integrated cable routing also. I have a suspension stem (Safort from AliExpress) but it is rather heavy. Just wondering if there could be a carbon handlebar on AliExpress that have some flex on the sides that can be an alternative for suspension stem.🤔

The Avian Canary https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005902791911.html (or Avian Canary II https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005009584339784.html) is technically a road handlebar, but many people use it for fast gravel builds because it's so light.

Its slim profile provides a natural compliance that helps dampening road chatter much better than a heavy suspension stem. It doesn't have a gravel flare, but if you are looking to save a massive amount of weight while gaining some vertical flex on the hoods, it's probably your best option

Thank you very much!

This handlebar is cool, but I wonder if there could be a cheaper option on AliExpress🤔

I totally get it. If you want a gravel-specific option without breaking the bank, check out the Kocevlo K05 https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005011577779436.html.

It’s around €80-90, has a nice flare for gravel use, and the profile is designed to be a bit more compliant than their standard road bars. It's probably the best middle ground between price and performance if the Avian is too expensive for your build.

Thank you! It is interesting if it has some flex on the hoods and drops🤔

CRW HB01 is flexy and has 4 cm total flare. Should be good for gravel
