Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame

"We will start for the frame moulds recently. So currently only in the 3D printed model. This bike frame will be showed at Eurobike 2026 at the end of June. Samples will be ready in August and the approximate price is USD 770/set."

Do you know what they mean by "samples?" Does this mean pre-production frames? Like, carbon fiber versions (rather than the 3D printed version we have seen)? The fact that she says samples, does make me wonder if they're further out from being production ready that they initially implied. That being said, I am really interested in the frame and I also got laid off from my job recently so I don't mind the timeline getting pushed out and giving me more time to find a job so I can afford a new frame lol

Samples are first molds that need to be fatigue tested if the layup is correct and etc. IF they pass testing the production will start.

After a month, I was wondering if there are any news.

I'm just window shopping at this point, so I don't want to bombard Lightcarbon with 101 questions on WhatsApp. I thought I'd ask here instead.
If anyone has any information, pictures, or updates, please share them here!

Also, instead of everyone asking the same things separately, maybe we can post a batch of questions here?
Thinking about more accurate weights, more detailed handlebar measurements, headtube width,the aero bottles: inhouse designed around the frame or just a pair of aero bottles for the bike show,  is the 35c measured as 35mm WAM with ISO clearance, or …?

But also: Remember what happened with the Mondice FM126 : community pressure actually led to real geometry changes. If enough of us speak up now (before final production), Lightcarbon might listen. I think now is the time

They are already listening, this is the response from lightcarbon from a couple of weeks ago

"Since returning from Chinacycle, several of our long-term partners have visited and offered suggestions for modifications to the frame; consequently, we are currently still in the process of making those revisions."

No idea what specifically, just glad they are iterating before locking in molds. The prototype looked good to me too. I still have some open questions for when the frame gets closer to production: more accurate weights, detailed handlebar measurements, headtube width, whether the aero bottles are frame integrated or just show props, and whether the 35C is 35mm WAM with ISO clearance. Happy to wait for Eurobike or hear if you guys have more info.

The two things that stood out for me on the prototype was 1) The area between the bottle cages (should be filled in) and 2) The thin fork arms (thicker = more aero ). I'm no expert, just my 2 cents.

100% agree. It’s the best looking design of all the new breed aero frames, so a lightweight version really would be the icing on the cake, but I can’t see LC going for it.
