Just heard back from Carol who has given a full update of what to expect production wise:

The LCR020-D is aero race road frame. The max tire clearance is 700*35C and with UDH design.
Frame weight: around 1100g/54cm size

The LCR020 will come in 7 sizes (47/49/52/54/56/58/61cm). The first size (M/54) is in mold design now—testing wraps up at the end of June, and the first sample of this size will be ready by late July.
As planned before, once the first size is approved, we’ll develop the S/52, L/56 and XL/58 molds together, then follow up with the XS/49, XXL/61 and XXS/47 later. All 7 sizes should be ready by the end of the year.

LCR020-D: USD 799/set. 
Including frame/fork/seat clamp/seat post(0mm offset) + front&rear thru-axles +headset+spacers +integrated latest handlebar HBR17+economical T47 BB +1 pc spare rear hanger
black matte finish, no decal.

So it's confirmed that it's coming with the HBR17 then. Kinda disappointed as I thought the prototype frame and handlebar shown in Shanghai and again at eurobike would be developed and packaged together.

Yeah, I never got on with the HBR17 at all on my LCR020 - the shape just didn't work for me for some reason.
I'd be interested in trying Peters new riser bars which should pair well with this frame.

I emailed LightCarbon for info about a wheelset and also asked about the LCR020.

They replied that "All 7 sizes should be ready by the end of the year". They confirmed 1100g for the 54cm frame.
The price should be around 799$ including fork, seatpost and HBR17 handlebar.

So we are basically looking at half the price of XMCS and less than half the price of QuickPro or Tavelo.

Most of that price difference (I suppose) is given by the fact that it is a standard frame construction rather than a monocoque construction (XMCS). Another big difference I suppose is in the amount of high modulus fiber (that is the reason for the higher weight) and in the refinement of the layup (again another reason for higher weight). In terms of stiffness and riding quality, actually, the frame might be relatively close to the other ones (XMCS, QuickPro, ...) since more weight implies more material, therefore a thicker lower modulus carbon fiber frame might end up really similar in stiffness to a high modulus frame with thinner walls for weight reduction.

This kind of approach, as far as I remember, is the same chosen from Merida for the latest Reacto. CF3 is lower modulus, CF5 is the high modulus frame...but the CF3 layup was engineered to give the same stiffness and ride quality of CF5 (at a higher weight). Interestingly, Merida claims about 1185g for the Reacto CF3 frame (which is quite close to LCR020 declared weight).

I am really looking forward to buy my first aero bike (currently riding titanium) and I cannot decide what to do. The Merida Reacto here in Europe can be bought for about 2800-2900€ (I am referring to 105 Di2 setup and alloy wheels, to be replaced with wheels from some chinese brand), QuickPro/Tavelo/XMCS are relatively expensive (frameset + groupset is very close to Reacto's cost) and the LCR020 will still take some time to reach the market...

Your analysis is very interesting... just one point: you have to consider that the Merida Reacto CF3 comes with an aluminum stem and handlebar, rather than an integrated carbon cockpit.

It's good to see they have filled up the area above the bottom bracket on the v2. My other wish is that they make a deeper fork.

I would have preferred the frame to have a bit more of a sloping geometry...in a size 56, the seat tube length is 545mm (very upright); I would have preferred max 510–520mm.

Wendy e-mailed me earlier today stating that they are still intending to produce the riser bar, but that people will have the option to also pair with the HBR17.  I'm waiting for her response as to when they anticipate the riser bar to be ready to go.

Yeah, thought they might have had a full build for Eurobike which is slightly disappointing.

Just stumbled on new lightcarbon catalog and noticed they added new 61 and 47 size for LCR020. I dont know how many people will care about that big one as much as me, but that is a lot of sizes to chose from for a lot of people, Thumbs up from me for that.
Just wanted to say this is shaping to be pretty much perfect bike for me, that 61 size geo is spot on for me (I would like to see more BB drop and steeper seat tube angle, but that is just nit picking).
So far it look I will be ordering this one as soon as it is available. Good job LightCarbon with this one, so far .

We are on the same boat (I am 188cm, 83cm bb to saddle) , I am looking for something like that on a 61cm for a little while but it looks like that no brand actually cares about producing those "gigantic" size frames. but in germany where I am located there are *plenty* of people that I ride with that are on the 58 to 61cm range.
If Voice Velo, or Seka had bigger sizes I would go for one of them but now seeing this new LCR020, it just ticks all the boxes for me (agree on the steeper ST angle tho) its just the matter of when this will be available

They also changed the weight to 1000g for the size 54 unpainted (was 1100g) in the newest catalog

I'm thinking twice if I would just get this or the Yishun R033 mainly because of the weight...
