Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame

IMO get the XMCS Vortex. They all tale their crafts seriously but XMCS looks promising. We are just here because our money is not enough for an XMCS and this got 35c clearance

I need some advice for my next frame 

If money was not a factor in choosing the best frame among the LCR020, the QuickPro ER:One and the XMCS VRT, would you still consider the LCR020 ? Yes, it is cheaper so there will be more money left for wheels and groupset, but...

1) 105 Di2 is enough, I do not need Ultegra or Dura-Ace (especially since I want 36T in the back, so that means 105 is mandatory)
2) I do not want super-light wheels with carbon spokes since I am relatively heavy (80 kg) and roads are terrible in my area (northern Italy)

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. You'd get the quick pro the fastest. You must like their paint jobs. The 20D is a gamble timing wise, you may not get your frame until march, depending on a million things. The vrt is one piece monocoque, the head tube is probably a bit more hourglass shaped, and is probably a bit faster in a wind tunnel. It costs significantly more than the 20D. Neither have had prototyping done with strong riders feedback. I assume they have similar geometries (didn't check the quick pro closely myself because of the paint and logo). If you want a bike yesterday, get the quick pro. If you want it this year, vrt. If you can afford to wait until the winter, the 20D would save you money and is almost guaranteed to put a smile on your face when you ride it. These 3 are very good bikes, buying "the best" realistically simply doesn't matter.

In your position I would quickly buy a Quickpro before their global price increases. It’s available now, has gotten good reviews and is already UCI certified. I think they’re also starting to be know enough to have better resale value in the future. You could even see if the prebuilts they have up will beat the price you could get on your own

Couldn't agree more with that reply. I will wait for it as this answer literally describes what I have in mind. kinda gambling with time but the lcr020 will tick sooooo many boxes once it gets out of the mould that imho, it will be the most relevant budget aero frame out there. ( as the 018 was when released )

on a playful note, I was considering some paintjobs and I will probably go with something like this with the new rival and XMCS 60mm wheels.

Generally agree but Quick Pro can be custom painted.

I ordered the LCR020 with HBR20 ~4 weeks ago. Delivery estimated at the end of 2026.

Wendy notified me that there is currently no plan to sell the LCR020 with downtube storage. Despite the initial info that it will have that option.

I'm not a big fan of downtube storage anyways, but this might be bad news for some.

Those are narrow rims, especially on such a frame.

re paypal: paypal is a farce of a payments provider. It makes sense to use it if you expect to get scammed. If you trust your counterpart, if you pay by bank transfer, you can save a pretty penny. Unless ofc your bank somehow charges you the same egregious amount for a Swift wire. My last swift cost me 24$, price at which the payee receives exactly the amount you want them to receive. You could save 50$ right there.

Edit: I use Revolut to do that. Never tried with Wise.

paypal was not my preferred choice. but WISE wasn't possible with lightcarbon. SWIFT declined by my bank. so paypal via my credit card was the only option left.
i trust lightcarbon, since it is my 3rd frame i buy from them. but with paypal i still have the option to open an issue in case its needed
