Mondince FM356 61mm tire clearance

Just did a ~4km test ride to bed in brakes etc. Rides great from first impression. Still have a bit of a chimney above the stem, due to playing around with the stack. Will probably leave the spacers how they are right now (20mm including headset topcap) and shorten the steerer. Running 2.4" Pirelli Scorpion XC RH atm. but I think I'll go down to 2.25" thunder burts for my normal riding.

I don't have a caliper at the moment. Measuring with an allen key, it's ~6mm each side on chainstay and seatstays the 8mm fits. Fork the 8mm also fits, plenty with the tire measuring ~61mm on 32mm inner width rims.

Can you tell me what type of bars those are? I'm looking for something with short drop like this so my neck doesn't get mad at me.

Looks great! I was thinking of getting the 2.4" Scorpions once my frame arrives, too. What made you decide to go down to 2.25" Thunder Bursts instead?

We just don’t have the terrain here, mostly flat / no elevation hard pack gravel with little bits of single trail. The scorpions have quite low rolling resistance though, so I’ll see how I get on with them first.

It would be cool if you could extract rubber inserts for luggage from the fork and take a pictures of fork without them to be able to see how they are made. I asked Mondince about it but they didn’t make such pics.

Yes because there's nothing special about this, it's a simple through-hole.

This look great. What do you guys think, could I also go for an L with 177/83? My current Giant Revolt in M has the saddle all the way up and I‘m using a 35 degree stem, from the geo charts an L frame would come out to the exact measurement of my current bike.

Has anyone seen a hole where you could route a dynamo cable?
