Hi everyone, I'm planning to build up a new bike that I want to bring in under the 7kg mark (including bottle cages and pedals). I'm very interested in the Evolve Cima, but the price is still a bit of a deterrent for me. Are there any frames in the €1,000–€1,500 range that offer comparable build quality, feature a UDH, are similarly lightweight (in the 700g range for an unpainted size M frame), and offer custom paint options—as well as the possibility of omitting the original branding? My primary focus is on mountains and hilly terrain. Thanks Guys!

Standard 1.5in headset Based on what we have seen so far, your best option is probably to buy a FSA No55R (40x51.8x8mm 36°/45°) headset separately and look for a FSA compatible stem / one-piece barstem

I think today you get there relatively easily with 1100g wheelset and 325g crankset, especially if building 1x. There is also a couple of light bar options (240g) that don’t kill the budget and offer descent weight savings

I'm 80kg+ Rider. You have a Budget wheelset with 1100g? Dont want Carbon Spokes. By my old Bike i Take the red 46/33. This safes me a little bit of Money.

Depends how you define budget and what depth you want. At 40-45mm with titanium spokes you get there

I can fully recommend Avenger Shuttle SL. I have it for more than 1 year, no issues at all. My build is 6.1 kg with all bottle cages, pedals, garmin and varia mounts. Bike is really great, both on flats and in the mountains. I have Sram red 1x12, XMCS crank, Imtos axles, xcadey power meter with 48t alugear chainring. I should still have 100USD off code if you want.

I think the Speeder 55d fits your requirements quite well and is just under your budget. My full build is 6.85kg with assiomas and Zen Carbon 50/55 wheels.

It is now going to be an LTK 266 D-SL bike with Zen wheels. I hope my custom paint job looks as good in real life as it does in the rendered images. I'll keep you posted. Does anyone know of any lightweight handlebars with a rise that are compatible with FSA ACR? My current favorite is the Avian Canary II—though that one does cost $330.
