CSC Carbon Gravel Wheelset (semi wide)

For those who are interested in wheels: as i mentioned in an other post i wanted to give my old 2015 Diverge a new wheelset. And because i´ll have to make some changes to the hubs to fit my bike i wanted to go on the cheap side. In CSC i found a supplier with the right set (for me).

I payed around 405,-€ with shipping to Germany.

Here are the Specs:
45x35mm, 29mm  (inner width), Pillar Wing20 Spokes, Steel bearing

The wheels look pretty decent and i mounted the following tires to check clearince in the frame:

Schwalbe G One Pro 622x35 measures 38.2 mm
Schwalbe G One Pro 622x40 measures 42 mm

Michelin Pro5 700x35 messures 37.9 mm

I had to change the endcaps at the rear hub to make it a 12x135. So i bought a set from DT-Swiss (HWGXXX0007569S) and they fit perfectly.

And with the new caps the wheel was about 4mm off center so i had to correct the dish. Took me about 10 minutes.

Next i´ll have to exchange the front hub for a 15x100. That will come from Goldix

Recently received the same set. Weight is 1390 grams. I put there Ti ratchet from Goldix as there was some posts here about broken teeth.
Came out straight from the box even the box was pretty smashed by the carriers.

I put on them fresh Panaracer Gravelking ZX. Front 50mm blow out to 52.5 mm. Rear 45 mm are 47.2 mm right now. Waiting for a frame still to test them.

is the CSC decal/sticker removable?

yes they are and you should do it because they are a bit loose on the ends.

Did you receive an order confirmation via E-Mail after placing the order and of so, how long did it take? I just ordered a wheelset this morning via the link you posted. I tried to pay with credit card multiple times, but always got an error: "e00114 invalid ots token". With PayPal it worked finally, but still no confirmation after 3h and the site even prompted me to create an account to track the order, which I did, but can't see my order in my account

my order timeline was like this:
May 13th - order placed and payment via paypal
May 14th - confirmation mail
May 19th - shipment notive with tracking number
May 22nd - arrival
Shipment was from Spain to Germany

keep in mind that there might be some delay due to time difference.
So dont worry, just be patient

Thank you for the detailed Timeline. I reached out to them via E-Mail as well and got this response. Not quite sure how to interpret this. As far as I understand there is no stock in the EU warehouse at the moment and they have to send the wheelset from China instead

Also picked up the same CSC Gravel Wheels, although the wider one (32int, 41ext, 50 deep), from Aliexpress. Weighed 1470g and feels nice and fast with Maxxis Reaver 45c (ballooned to 49mm). I'm planning to change the ratchet on it since I saw a review that had one broken after a few uses. Will those goldix/dt swiss ratchets fit on these? Thanks!

I've replaced rachet with this titanium one 54T:

I've swapped the ratchet rings and springs leaving the inside ring and spacers in place. All works fine in that configuration.
