New 2026 Rinasclta X-AERO Frameset

Rinasclta over the years has mainly been just open mold Airwolf frames from Ali Express. Their Granite all-road frame from 2022 was kind of ahead of it's time with 38c tire clearance. I ordered one and custom painted it myself at home. Quality was superb for the price. Even raced it a few times.

Sure this new X-AERO Frameset looks to be following the current Scott Foil RC trend. But what peaked my interest is the geometry especially for my size.

My equivalent size would have both a wheelbase and front center longer than any bike I currently own. Should be useful for weight distribution as riders move their saddles forward. Seat tube angle is outdated though. Can't tell if 0mm or 8mm setback seatpost either. Not a weight weenie frame, but as a crit banger bike I'd rather have the robost nature that should come with the extra weight.

I think the STA should be steeper than what is shown in the geometry chart, like any other scott foil look alike. Interesting, but it only clears 32C

I was looking at size 54. Which might as well be 56 or M/L

The chart doesn't provide wheelbase but given the chainstay, FC, and effective TT lengths, respectively, it should be on the longer side. It's actually more like a 58 with a low stack.

I would call the 52 more like a 56 bike. I think your statement about the 54 being a 58 with a low stack is spot on.

Would like to see more bottom bracket drop. Overall, don't think this is a good candidate for modern geometry at all.

Its probably one of the better options available right now--but its not a great option.

I would look for lower BB drop and even more length at this size. The chainstay is also a bit on the longer side, and ideally the frame moves both wheels forward.

Yes actual STA is probably somewhere around 75+ degrees, similar to ICAN A54. It can be nicely seen from sideview how different is seatpost angle vs. steerer tube angle.

This is the only reasoning I can think of why a frame in 2026 would have measly a 67mm BB drop. That or Rinasclta is using auto-cad engineers who've never ridden a bike before. Or have access to the internet.

I would clarify with them. Some italian bikes are still this high, and 67mm checks out given the head tube length measurements.

I think 67mm BB drop is likely correct. If it was to the top of T47 BB it would mean 90mm to the centre, which would be massive. The new Merida Reacto has 66mm BB drop so it's not unheard of in new bikes.

Seems they updated the geometry, drawing seems fine now. I am curious if any brand has similar design for gravel lol.

That would be a nice frame with 75mm BB drop and 74 STA. Stack is on Lower but this can be adjusted with spacers. But still 10-15mm more wouldn't hurt in larger sizes.
