Looks like there is a new PP6 dedicated app too (Thinkrider SET).

I'm still using my PP5 for now alongside a range of PMs on other bikes deemed to be reliable by the masses and still very happy with its accuracy for the usage I give it i.e. I don't tend to sprint in the middle of my rides then go to steady state. I appreciate for some peoples training regimes (if you did something like microbursts) this would be a killer. But there is absolutely no way I would swap it for any single sided PM by anyone.

That Thinkrider news post is from last year, so I doubt it applies to the PP6.

It looks like the pp6 is now listed on the official thinkrider store on aliexpress, but when I select spider only in the webpage, it says pp5 instead of 6, but the picture shows something with a 6 on it.

I have a PP5, but it kinda sucks. I've already updated the FW several times, but there are still weird bugs. For example if I let it sit for too long, it just stops recording ride data. Also it has weird speed spikes if I pedal abruptly. I'd definitely consider getting something else. The PP6 needs to have eliminated all those issues for me to even consider getting one.

Though I did get mine for really cheap including the crankset, and it's the only reason I'm still tolerating it.
