there is a 12s version now with longer teeth, i ordered one from alix but im wondering if the pin that stops it rotating will fuck up the carbon cage on erx

I'm using the updated 18t narrow wide pulley wheel. I didn't want to spend money on an updated RD setup, since I wanted to push my v1 ER9 gearing to 50-34/11-36t with no compromise on shifting. I've taken it on a few rides where I tried sprinting at the high gear while trying to drop the chain, but it's held tightly. The older version could cause chain drop with 12 speed setups. It might even be more stable compared to my ERX v3 setup with wider cage.

I don't plan to ride this setup in the rain, but it is quite easy to disassemble and service. Also a steel bearing is available if someone wants to experiment swapping the ceramic bearing out.

I'd only get this pulley wheel if you're stuck with an RD that can't handle taking a bigger cassette.

bought one months ago, put on my bike (ultegra 11s), shifting worsened, then went few weeks ago over a longer stretch of dusty road (semi-gravelly), it seized totally, fortunately there was a shop nearby so i put the standard pulley in (a new overpriced one)

Ah yes, the Alugear ripoff. I have the same but from Ryet, which were quite a bit more expensive. But they look amazing and shifting is great. Might give these a go next time.

Do the Ryet ones bought as a set come with the aero cover or do you have to buy that piece additionally?

Does anyone know of a 12 speed 11-40 cassette ? I swear i've seen one before and AI also says so but I can't find it anymore. 38 and 42 are fine too if these somehow exist but I hate the gap in the cassette market for 12 speed
