Looking for brake levers options for triathlon build. Outside of TRP and SRAM, i don't see a lot of option and nothing on the budget side of the spectrum. Planning on going 1x with SRAM axs/blips.

Anything out there that I am missing?

Ludo

super expensive too...

I think I managed to find some TRP 910 at very good price, with leap adapter for the blips the integration is super clean, paired with Zrace calipers, it's should do the job. the whole think should cost less than $350 (excluding blips)

Well that is what I have...SRAM 1x. But I bought the trp with calipers. And I have the leap adapters in the brakes and in the aerobars. It´s a couple of hundred U$ more but having gears in the handlebars it´s handy.

Ludo

That's exactly the set up I am looking at, just the caliper difference to save a few irrelevant weight

Riderever Triva Carbon FM uses mineral oil and is fairly cheap

III Pro TT Levers, as far as I know, the cheapest option $89.99

Great info.
U$90 a parir? That is unbelievable. Has anyone tried these?

Ludo

I can't find any info on them. And comfort might be a challenge with that clamping system.

The only information I'm aware of is Trace Velo's video from Eurobike 2025:

(starts at 12:54)

It was priced at $149.99 for a long time, but the price recently dropped to $89.99.

Also worth mentioning that SRAM recently released Rival, Force, and RED TT brake calipers based on the new E1 road brake standard. With these new calipers, braking performance is now on par with that of modern road brakes, which have been highly praised for their performance. Prices are also more competitive, especially compared to the older S-900 aero calipers, which were really expensive.

I know you mentioned options outside SRAM and TRP, but at least the Rival calipers are priced similarly to, or even cheaper than, the Riderever Triva calipers for a pair.

Ludo

What strange is that I don't see these on AliExpress.
Probably someone imported a bunch in the US, they are not selling and now have to discount them to move them from Amazon warehouse

Ludo

Well, I pulled the trigger, $86 after coupon and tax, worth a punt.

Dang, I've been looking around for a while and haven't seen these.

I thought the only budget options were going to be riderever triva or mechanical brakes with either mechanical disc or cable actuated hydros.
