Does anyone here have any experience with a Crux 5 clone from China?
I'm just asking to make sure there aren't any problems like the ones with the Epic's bottom bracket.
Which retailers would you recommend?

There are clones of Crux 5? A friend of mine was interested in a similar looking frame

Yes, there are some shops, which offer such frames. For example this one:

I'm also surprised that there's nothing about it here on the forum.

Taiwan Bike have it on AliExpress but it's not cheap.

Starting to see geometric copies now of the Roval Terra integrated bars too that look good from Kocevlo and Ullicyc. Extra weight and likely without the designed compliance but price is appealing and spacers available for standard 52 bearing frames.

I had a contact with a company who tried to sell a copy, search "CURX 5" on Ali to find it (it does not appear anymore for my country). I might be able to share the WhatsApp of the contact I had. It was sold for 700€

I had contact with championcyclingsell.
They offered Crux 5 frameset, in the nice Bora Hansgrohe Team Edition to me, with handlebar, for 930€.
Transport to Germany.
Now I cannot decide what to buy, Mondince FM346 or this one! Mondince is 760€

If it's a 1:1 copy of the original frame I would choose the Crux 5. It looks awesome in the photos, the question is: are these real pictures of their frame or the original one?

Are the pictures just to highlight the paint? Because that's an SL9 frameset. Do they even have real pictures of the Crux 5 frame?

Limone185

The pictures I showed are from them. This paintshop was done several times by them for SL8 and SL9.
The results where fine. You are right, this design wasn´t used for crux copie, as far as I know.

It was my whish to have this design. But they have several other paints for crux (see attached).

Yes, the Geo-table from there bikes seems the same, like for real crux.

What would be you reason for Crux and not the Mondinc FM346/SP-Cycle G28?
Advantage is weight. But they don´t have bag in the donwtube.
Also crux can only fit 55m
Im tires, Mondince min 57mm.

I´m a little bit lost now.

$1200 frame+delivery very expensive price for china copy. Half price ok.
