Re: Carbonda FM909 Now the weather got much better in the last couple of weeks and today I did a longer trip.
The S frame fits two 750ml bottles. Using a sideloader , of course  ;)

I am still not sure if I should lower the front 1cm, but so far it's a good match for me.

Re: Carbonda FM909
There's no paint, just bare carbon. I don't think there are cracks, more like carbon layers were put this way, I don't know. Disappointed a little bit though, may be should've bought FM936. My friend has it and he has no complains about quality.

There is paint.. matte UD is already painted. If there was bare carbon you should see the layers of carbon. UD as well as 3K.

Re: Frames without full internal headset routing? You can use any fully integrated frame just the usual way.
There is only one important thing: you need to take a headset, where the top dust cap has an opening to enter the hoses. Carbonda is selling that and you can find that also from e.g.  FSA.
Of course you can't use the fully internal handlebar/ stem then, you can just use the common ones. This gives you also more freedom for stem and handlebar choice.

This could be the right headset from fsa  (i am not completely sure, but it looks decent) https://shop.fullspeedahead.com/en/prodotti_1/headset-spares/no-69-srs

The next build I will do is probably this style  ;)

Re: Rate the inside of this fork: Maybe I didn't see it. What is the company of the fork?

From my side: if they are not able to make a good carbon binding in the fork, basically a straight rod ..I would not have a good feeling for the more complex frame shapes

Re: Carbonda FM909
Max - exactly. 2 vrs is a type of seals. The measurements is the same.
May be we can use not flanged bearings. But the main question is whether they will fit correctly into the frame seats and whether they will not be overtightened during installation.

Well. If the outer geometry is the same then at least there are spares, although not as strong against forces... i wouldn't change to not flanged bearings. Just to be on the safe side.

Re: Race oriented gravel frame? If you mention the Carbonda 505... why not the 505?
It is available again. It's just not directly visible on the webpage.
I have seen some 505 builds recently.
But it's not less than 1kg frame weight.  Mine is about  1250g for the painted frame in size S

Re: Flat bar gravel frame The Carbonda 707 is reaaaally a long frame.
I couldn't ride this as a drop bar bike frankly. Would force me to use a 70mm stem and it would be still sporty riding as my road bike.
I have already seen a flatbar build with the 707.

Re: Carbonda Gravel CFR505 build
I badly notched the seatstays last year (or the previous) by not attaching a mudguard firm enough.
On top of knowing the design is from 2015, how could I not find it old and in the need for a new one ?  ;)
The 696 is too much MTB for me. I can't stand the seat stays/seat tube junction of the 707.
I didn't ask Wing about the 606 availability yet, so I can still dream a little about it... ::)

There is no reason required for a new bike  8). but if you feel better, the 505 is old.

;) still the shape of the frame is quite similar to currently sold bikes.

Re: Carbonda FM909
Is it possible to add external routing option too?
Could you tell me how much have you additionally paid to get this blue carbon color? Are there more "transparent" color options?

It was 180 or 190.. I don't remember the exact value. It's more expensive than a "normal" color. That's because they had to remove the black UD raw coating.

I checked the invoice. It was 150. Worth every penny. But keep in my mind, that the bike is dark, if the day is cloudy.

Re: Groupset News Pretty nice...
I am also curious about fully hydraulic road shifters from Sensah... ? Will they also present some?
