Hi , do you have any idea of rider max weight and quality of the frame. I own a Hongfu xc frame since 2020 the torpado ursus team frame . Im looking for upgrade frame high quality but must have 2 bottle mounts. I mainly do xcm races and is gets really hot. Any info on this or another modern high quality frame. I see the ridley frame got more bottle mounts and the head tube slightly different. Thanks for the info

Hi. So you think this is also a good buy for the price . Its $300 cheaper than the carbonda frame , but how close is the quality? My previous hongfu was very good no idea of this one

Might have to buy it to check the quality :(
but this is not a copy, but an original development used like carbonda by "brands" so indirectly there are reasons to rely on quality

Does anyone have an actual link / info / pricing for this frame? I've had a look on the website and seen the banner. Would like more info.

what specific information do you want more?

a little photoshop to understand what the bike will look like in the assembly :)
-
That now , looks like a great bike . Any idea for carbon wheels and one piece handlebar manufacturer for that frame . Must be able handel 95kg rider. Saw nice looking parts from lightcarbon , not sure if hongfu do those parts .
-
Looks like a good bike, but the seat tubes are at least 20mm too long per size and many would end up running too short dropper posts IMO.
-
and this is what a ridley looks like on this frame. The frame really look not bad.
-
Where do you buy this, directly from them? I don't see any links to buy in their site

https://conceptcycles.com.br/ another “brand” using this frame unchanged, from Brazil.

This looks interesting. Especially as the reach on the FM909 is so ridiculously long, which doesn't really suit me. Though as you're losing more than 2 degrees of seat angle here, the effective reach loss will be a lot less than the 40mm that the raw number suggests.

and costs less than the 909 frame. Geometry can be said to be standard for today, angles 67/76 and 470mm reach in L size

This frame is now also available in Europe! I am seriously considering ordering..
-
Have you gotten any information about pricing etc. to Europe for the frame?
Is it still 650 + shipping as mentioned in the first post.

Just ordered the frame this morning. Was more straightforward than some of the other manufacturers that I've dealt with. I'll post again as soon as I receive it and give an assessment of how it compares in quality to Carbonda and LightCarbon.
-
i order last week this frame, my experience with HongFu are,
quality very good
service also,
delivery time very long
we will see how long this frame will take to come to Holland , the last one take 6 months, they tell me 2 weeks before finish the frame and then send to me, but last year they tell the same.
now looking for the rest of the bike,
allready order XX SL transmission group and Fox shock.
-
The most important and interesting question is what size bottles size into the frame?
(visually the hinge of the suspension arm protrudes forward too much, blocking the possibility of placing a large bottle)
-
I have also just ordered a frame, with custom painting.
They told me that the paint time would be 2-3 weeks.
I have had 2 frames from HongFu before and am really happy with the quality (both road frames).
First time building a full suspension, so looking forward to it.

What was price of painting?
-
It depends on the complexity of the paintjob, I just went with a single color red chameleon color (red to black) and golden logo decals (on the lower frame tube and on the upper chainstay).
Paint was $150 and decals were $75.
-
My frame have now been painted and is ready to be shipped :D
It's painted in a dark crimson red.
I will post high resolution photos when I receive the frame.
-
looks very good,
my frame they send 20 days ago still not received [netherlands]

For weight Super Light version frame L size is 1533g for one set, and price is $750/set.
Now we have FM138-SL ,size L ,19"available in stock.Thanks.
1533g :o :o :o
-
the non sl is 0,5kg heavier , i think the SL weights more then 1533g,
-
i have ordered a frame in size s how is the quality of the frame? is there a lighter version? when i spoke with malissa she didn't tell me anything about a super light version
-
the non sl is 0,5kg heavier , i think the SL weights more then 1533g,
Yeah that's highly optimistic, and not what I was told. This seems much more realistic.
Yes,we have light weight version for FM138, and the price for frame FM138-SL is $750.
Normal version FM138,size L,weight:2080g±45g.
Light weight version FM138-SL,size L ,weight:1930±45g.
No any strength difference, if the rider weight ≤100KG is ok .
I'm in the process of ordering one, so I can report back when it arrives.

That's what I was told, but yes, 1800-1900 for the super light version seems to be a more realistic weight.

use sideloader 750ml
have photo? Looking at the photos and videos of the frame, it seems that the 750 ml bottle will rest against the rear suspension link
-
sorry no picture, i try and you are right it touch the link
so 500ml is max, i have a 950ml and that fit at the normal but i think a lot of weight at the small bolds,

dps 190x45 factory
XXsl transmission group
magura mt7/mt8 trail
syncross handelbar
carbonseatpost and saddle
36mm carbon wheels 1295 gr

Just got my frame today. The large superlight is 1980g.

strange bushing 25 and 16mm but after a smal search good to find
Can you share links for the bushings? I'm not having any luck finding them.

Finished my build. I am absolutely loving this machine. I'm still tweaking a bit, but still very happy. Tweaking so far includes going with a different bar, the rear sus was a little too compliant for my taste so added the larger token and I think it's good. I want to make the front a little more compliant so will see what's in there for tokens, planning to remove one. I was expecting this build to be good, but I wasn't expecting to love it so much.
