It will probably be quite a bit more than $200 to get the rest of the things you mentioned, unless you're going ultra budget. $400 seems more likely for quality parts. Still, it means that a quality groupset can be had for under $1000 if LTWOO turns out to be reliable. Time will tell. I just made an AliExpress cart of: - Senicx PR2 DUB crank (to avoid 24mm alloy axles) - Shimano M6100 chain - ZTTO 12S 11-34 cassette - 2x IIIPro centrelock rotors 160mm And that came to 220 AUD (150 USD). I accept that there are likely higher quality options out there, but I would think that this presents a decent level of quality for Chinese products. As a buddy told me: Fully agree - there's a pretty simple commercial incentive here for legitimate factories to avoid there being additional frames coming out of genuine moulds. If you were the big bike brand on the other end (like a Trek) you would expect that any contract is very strict about termination/penalties for IP infringement, and if you're the factory, you sure as hell won't want to lose a massive contract to sell a few frames for (relatively) tiny profit. I've done a teardown of my broken LTWOO brifter to see what's inside. I have the part-1 video up right now on youtube. Interesting finds include that the hydraulic reservoir is a modular part that pops right out. Appreciate the detailed teardown. That was an interesting look at their levers. Thanks for the feedback! I have never worked hands-on with Campy so I've only been able to go off of the material online, which admittedly is sparse, it's good to hear from someone with real-life experience on this. As far as off-road goes, it's worth noting that for Ekar, Campagnolo changed the thumb lever design a bit (L-TWOO's version is almost like a hybrid between the Ekar version and the original Ultrashift version) and it's a single-click only. I don't think this is a bad thing - over the years I've had 9/10 speed Campagnolo Chorus (with the multi-shift down) and 11 speed Potenza (single shift down, with the droopy thumb lever) For reference - ultrashift levers (note higher thumb button):  Powershift levers (see lower thumb button):  Ekar levers (redesigned thumb button):  For what it's worth, I think the single-click Powershift levers with the lower thumb button are excellent - the improved ergonomics is worth the trade-off against being able to shift across multiple harder gears. I have found that on bumpy surfaces, the Ultrashift levers can sometimes have me going down two gears when I only intended to go down one. Thanks for the recommendations. re: oz cycle, as long as I'm not promoting the dog killer then that's okay! As for the brake track, I have pretty low expectations but 99% of my riding is in the dry - I'm in a pretty dry climate and if it's raining I'd usually go on the trainer. I'll keep an eye on the hubs - a YouTuber mentioned in a review from mid-2022 that the brake track was poor in wet conditions and the hub had poor weather sealing, but the one I've bought appears to have both a different hub design and seemingly a more grooved brake track. Just spotted Sensah Empire HRD 11 speed for sale on Aliexpress. Price is $249 for shifters, disc brake calipers, and derailleurs. Looks promising! Thanks for that - I've done a little groupset comparison for anyone interested in the current state of the market for hydraulic groupsets. I have used official store prices for Ltwoo and Sensah.
