The 947’s had a couple of reports of cracked stays already

Could you link these reports or did you hear it from somewhere else? I've heard of the seat stays possibly cracking when removing a bolt, but that was fixed. Never heard of any other cracking issues.

Definitely looks like it could be a more refined version, and they got rid of that top tube kink, nice. But to expensive for a chiner..

This is bad :-(

14 month ago, i ordered a carbonda frame (FM936), then i changed my mind and switched to another (FM1001) then i changed my mind again (for a custom titanium softail) and canceled the order (yes I am the worst client ever). Carbonda accepted to refund me 100%.

Now, I know that I can trust them and would be 100% confident in buying them a frame in the future.
So bad Heideli is not as reliable as some others. They focus on short term profitability...

Lightcarbon and Carbonda are the ones I entrust for my carbon frame needs. Dengfu seems to be alright too.

Also sold as Transalpes C2, this frame seems to be a collaboration between Bikelabs and Trail supply AG/Transalpes.

You should sand away as much as you possibly can, some places are more difficult get of course. Also (kinda obvious) these 2k paints are bad to breath in so wear a proper respirator and be in a well ventilated area.

Here's a video guide of a pro doing a proper DIY spray can paint job.

Can't wait to hear what you think compared to the 947 :)

Use 2k primer and clear coat for durability (I'd recomend Spraymax), base color can be 1k Montana or any others you like.

Oneup's dropper has the shortest insertion and you can also get a low stack saddle like the Nukeproof horizon enduro saddle (also know as "Sam Hill enduro" with oil slick rails). Shorter cranks and thicker pedals will give you more clearance as well.

You guys think they’ll add water bottle mount ? I see none in all frame render/photos that have been posted yet.

I have a ganite aux waterbottle cage with strap in case but I would prefer using bolt on

There's a water bottle mount above the shock on the downtube.

I don't think there's two versions of the frame it's just the large sized frame has bigger kick at the seat tube (someone correct me if i'm wrong).

The new LCFS947 is HUGE!!!!! And with 51mm offset on the Lyrik form its even longer. I have never ridden something like this, its going to be very interesting and exciting.

Looks like a beast :), what chainstay protector is that?

To you guys who have received your frames, is the dropper insertion correct to the specs or is there a little more wiggle room then specced?
