Was looking for something like OG CF-52 or FM199 but all only available up to L size.
Epic/Scale Clone would be great.

Hi folks,

BIG NEWS! After Carbonda sold the CFR505 to Thesis, they were working on a new gravel frame set. It seems to be finished now. It's code name is CFR707 (FM1186 is the flybike name)
Common sizes will be available very soon. The uncommon sizes like XXL will be available at the end of this year most likely.

The frame set is like a combination of 505 and 696. It has a more appealing design like the 505 with its lower seat stays and the big tire clearance like the 696. Its wheelbase is pretty large to make room for big tires, so it's not like the 505 with its pretty short WB. So right now Carbonda is not offering road based / short WB / low stack gravel frame as a 505 successor, which might be a downside for some of you. Still, this new frame will be the right fit for a lot of you guys.

I like the sleek integrated seat post clamp and the 505 front end and seat stays. And I like the big tire clearance. If you want to run 700c 32mm on it, it might look odd with that big space between rear tire and seat tube.
Also the very high stack values are appealing. Top tube length is a little longer than the 505, but could be compensated by shorter stem.

Here are two pictures with 700c road wheel set, the frame drawing and the geometry sheet.

also check out the riding gravel thread, this forum get's a lot of attention.

Hi guys, I found an older topic of ullicyc integrated handlebars, but that was too general and from one year ago, so here a new one.

I found this on AliE and it has the exact same values as the standard version of the Syncros Fraser handlebar which Scott uses for their Spark 900 for example.
I ordered that one and will let you know ones is here.

Update:
This version is an 1:1 copy the seller said. That's why it is the most expensive one. Even the stated weight is the same.

Component Deals & Selection / CarbonBeam XC carbon rims
« on: July 12, 2020, 05:50:21 AM »
Hi guys,
was looking for light XC rims with 25-30mm inner width.
Using "29 carbon rim" search on AliE I got a lot of results up front from SoloTeam or CarbonBeam, whichseam to be the same company. Very light (310-330g) and pretty cheap (130$). www.carbonbeamwheels.com also have a website where you can order via PayPal.
They are specifying these rims up to 120kg rider weight, which should be ideal for me and my Gravel/forest paths requirements, not really full XC. But all other manufacturers I know specifying their rims way lower like 80-90kg or with a higher rim weight of 365 or higher. So I'm not really sure what to think of these.

Anyone have any feedback on these?
