Hey guys,
A long time lurker, and have been looking for a new carbon road sled on and off for a year now. I am aware of the "trusted" dealers like velobuild for frames. However, I'd be willing to spend more to get a complete bike. I am a total noob for bike assembly, and not sure if my local bike shop would work on a chinese OEM frame. I am interested in Costelo bikes, they are mainly sold on Aliexpress, don't really have a website, so not sure what that means in terms of legitimacy. Just wondering if anyone has any dealings with them!
here is their AliExpress store

this is the bike I am looking at getting, their version of the Venge!
thanks!

Never had any dealings with them but the first thing I see is 95.9% positive feedback which I think is starting to get pretty low. They have been around since 2011 though which is a good thing.
Sorry, can't be any more help than that.

If that means anything for their frame, their MTB Atac/Time pedals are crap.
The Ti spindle is a bad alloy, and was grinded in no time. The real Time spindle last ages.
And their Time cleats, aren't even compatible with Time pedals.

I bought a costelo frame: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32848992807.html
Super light and flexible, seems decent value and finish. That said I would never buy a fully built bike from them, doesn't really make sense to me. If you are buying a complete bike, get it from a major brand. Or provide more info on what you ride/how much/etc.

I looked at the Costelo bikes too, but with the price tag did not think it was all that great. NZ$2500 for Shimano 105.....(from memory) I made my Velobuild bike with full Ultegra/velosa 50mm carbon clinchers for just over NZ$2000 and that included the custom paint job I did on it. See my pictures at (https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,2901.0.html)
It's not all that hard to put a bike together from scratch, there are plenty of you-tube videos to show you how. Jump in and make it yourself, it gives you a real buzz to say "Hey, I made this!"

I got a frame from them since May 2019.
Nothing to complain till now.
