Peerage. Goldiex. Sunpeed. Just why?! These companies should run a little survey outside of China on naming their products...
P. S. They look great regardless of unfortunate name. IIIpro generally seems to make good products.

73.5g for the levers means I can take my zrace x2's down to 357g and make em look much nicer
-
These are a much better value option than Lewis Brakes. I agree though - china comes up with some proper wtf names for their products and seem so random. I think i'll bite the bullet on a set of these in silver to replace my maguras which has been something on my list for a while!

Peerage. Goldiex.
As an englishly-challenged, I have to ask: I assume that "Peerage" (an actual word) becomes funny if you read it "pee rage" ... yea, it actually is pretty funny. But why is everybody giggling about "Goldix"?

Could be a fairly literal translation of their Chinese name-reminds me of a article I read about how the Chinese pay for consulting services to pick their English names to use for business, so a woman whose name in Chinese is Linden (after the tree) becomes Lindsey.

do you can make the overhaulin to analises the lever? is the adjust only on reach lever or have bite contact?

Besides a weight reduction, does this type of lever and hydraulic actuator work better than the regular IIIPro levers? (Modulation, stopping power, response?)

"Gold Dicks" - Dick being slang for penis.

You'd have to do the calc lol

I have some coming soon ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

Nice, looking forward to the feedback!

My bladder is looking forward to reading how well they work.

Hose routing to the levers appears to require a handlebar that supports interior routing.

nah just a banjo like trickstuff

Yeah. I'm very interested in your impressions. I also wonder if they perform any better then the other IIIpro or Zoom 910.

I have some of the zrace x2s right now and will only be using the levers (not the calipers) so I can cut some grams so you will not get a review of the calipers but only the iiipro levers with the zrace x2 calipers. The IIIPRO calipers are the same as the zrace 4 pot ones.

I'll take whatever impressions I can get

Have you had a chance to form some impressions of the brakes? Can you compare them to more mainstream brakes from the Big S'?

I have 3 sets of the III pro brakes in service. First pair was installed in Dec.22. 2nd pair June 23, and 3rd set Sept. 23. The first set has been used hard, and I have worn through a set of pads. 2nd and 3rd bikes do not see as many miles and/or adverse conditions. I have never ridden on any other "High end" calipers. but in comparison to my XT calipers on my older FS bike, these work equally, if not slightly better. Perhaps on my next build, I will purchase some Lewis brakes... To date, I have been very pleased with their cost to weight/performance ratio.

so far good. I wish they pushed a bit more fluid per stroke length and I wish the clamp was a standard Sram or Shimano clamp or even the trickstuff clamps. Also wish it didn't have the no tool reach adjust as it is unnecessary and adds grams/looks ugly. I also wish the hoses would stay still when you tighten the banjos at the lever especially on the front brake. they are 328g for the set which is S- tier.

What pads do these use? Gonna give them a shot when silver are available again

I'm keen to know more too. I just started running IIIPro's on my Surly Krampus and I'm about to install Zoom HB-910's on my Cotic FlareMax.

I'm only buying these if they say PEERAGE right on the levers ;D
Nothing gets me more fired up to ride, except maybe a UTI

Would you guys say this is a worthy PEEccola clone?
sorry, I'll piss off now :D
-
I was waiting for a silver set to be back in stock and have ordered a set of these to test out. Reviews seem positive so lets see!
-
The iiiPro post and flat mount brakes share similar components like bleed screw. I'm curious if I could use the post mount brakes on a gravel build for more stopping power.

Yup so far so good. Just over 1k miles of hard training and UCI level racing. Keep in mind I had these set up with 2 piston calipers and without pads the set weighs 324g which is seriously light. Pads weigh 20g for front and rear. Only complaint is that you can't lock the cable in place.

I bought a set a couple of weeks ago and only got to fit them on Saturday. I can't use the bike they're on right now until I get tyres but the brakes were a doddle to set up. I did have the trim the front hose but the rear was only just long enough for my bike. The brakes arrive pre-bled and I didn't realise they had a shorter hose from the lever that the remaining hose connects to. I like that a lot and bleeding the rear brake was just the same as shimano. Brakes feel nice but there is a lot of pull on the lever to require the pistons to move. I'll have to update here once I get riding them. They look great and weighed 400g with pads for front and rear once front hose was trimmed about 150mm.
-
Does anyone have a link to a IIIPro 4-piston caliper rebuild kit? One of my rear caliper's pistons has started leaking and sucking in air. (All things considered, not many hours of usage on these calipers.)

Any updates yet? How do they perform in terms of braking power if you compare them to XTR or Level brakes?

I do.
I just installed few days ago the XG4 / IIIPRO flat mount kit with GRX shifters in my gravel bike.
Quite annoing bleeding but now it works.
Need to brake in the pads but "i got the power" now comprared to Apex

Front Brake

Anyone know best way to bleed these? I accidentally introduced air into the lines of the front brake and now it doesn't work, eck.

Sorry no, I am not a urologist. Perhaps someone here is ? - Apologies, I am watching Paris-Roubaix and it is a bit boring right now.

I highly suggest to try the autobleed technique. Use a rubber band and press the front brake lever up to the lever touches the bar. Let the brake at least all the night long or up to 24h.
This will help to let the bubble move from the caliper to the lever
Then, release the lever and fill the front lever reservoir with oil using the shimano funnel
With the funnel full of oil, start squeezing the lever very short and very fast. Many small bubble will go up.
Do this 2/3 times in a week
In case of "severe" air trapped between the piston, squeeze the piston without bleedblock or rotor in order to "over expose" piston. Then, reset the piston with something flat (be carefull with ceramic piston edges)

I can state that I am to the point that I can't recommend the IIIPro products anymore. I have had 4 calipers fail (I purchased 5 sets total of the IIIPro E4 brakes)
4 calipers having issues is too high of a percentage failure rate.
The seals start leaking between the piston and seal interface, causing one to at first think you have to bleed the brakes, then after doing this several times I realized that the seals were no longer sealing properly. - I carefully measured the old seal, purchased replacements. After carefully replacing the seals, they still leaked between the seal and the pistons. (Even after a year +, I did not see any rebuild kits offered for sale.)
Regarding bleeding the calipers of all the air bubbles, I found this to be a very time consuming task on the first versions I have. Then they added an additional air purge hole in the second version. (This helped a lot.) I end up removing the caliper from the frame or fork, remove the pads, insatll a brake bleed spacer block, then I have to move the calipers in all sorts of directions, sometimes tapping on them to get all of the bubbles to come out. Just flowing new fluid from the caliper to the levers, or levers through the calipers never worked for me. The brakes would remain soft.

Thanks for your contribution. Can you share the correct replacement seal size in order to avoid purchasing wrong size?thanks

I purchased this seal, except these seals did not fix the problem of leaking between the piston OD and the seals. Therefore I can't recommend these as the fix.
