Title: Elite wheel hubs rd07
Post by: abedfo on March 27, 2024, 06:17:22 AM
Hey everyone. Just snagged a pair of elite wheel ent 38mms in the sale for £216. I wish to put them on my cross bike which is ancient QR standard. Elite do end cup adapters but charge a premium for them so just looking for cheapest option whilst they ship.

My question is does anyone know who makes the RD07 hubs? Also if I just buy the generic adapter end caps from ali express are they likely to fit ?

Apparently yuan an bike is the manufacturer of elitewheels (cf. http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4615.0.html).

Their hubs can be found here: https://www.yuananbike.com/product-list/road-bike-hub_p2

Maybe you can ask them for end cups or whether there are generic aliX alternatives you can use.

Hi, I recently bought a couple of Elitewheels Ent + adapters, as soon as I get my hands on them I can provide pictures and measurements, if that's of any help.

Where did you get the adapters? I am looking for them and can't find them anywhere.

Just to be clear, you have (road)thru-axle wheels now and want to mount then on a QR frameset?
If thats the case, i would suggest a qr/tru-axle adapter(axle) there is plenty of then om ali.

Search for "qr adapter 12mm"

I bought them from Elitewheels together with the wheels

For anyone, interested, I contacted Elitewheels support on Aliexpress and for the SLR Gravel model, they sent me this link:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008851612364.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.468eQau8Qau8PS&algo_pvid=87e0d5dd-a4f6-41d4-9bd7-ddf69fb0f2ec&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%2236%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%2C%22fromPage%22%3A%22search%22%7D&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A%7Cx_object_id%3A1005008851612364%7C_p_origin_prod%3A
Apparently they are sold by MANA and the model of the hubs is RD13.

I had the RD07 (pawl) and RD13 (ratchet) hubs and can confirm any generic free hub is compatible. Based on this, I believe any QR end cap would be fine. The products on the mana store are expensive.

I get this, but I've been looking for the adapters for a while now and any answer I get is along the line of "any generic would be fine", but there are quite a few different generic endcaps available. I wanted to link the specific product, because the information is quite elusive and someone else might be as confused as me.
