New frameset spotted on adapts website
Roumors are that adapt produce for Speeder, Winspace and even Tavelo.
The picture also show a rim looking a lot like perpetual wheels (subbrand of Tavelo).

Weight seems very nice, and with that deeper headtube it looks a lot like the Tavelo-SL8 mashup (yet no 1:1 copy)
-
looking very nice! I wonder what is the weight in size 58.
-
Looks good! Does anyone have experience with these Adapt bikes? How much do frames usually run for?
Edited: I found a thread from February after Eurobike in which someone says they're OEM only and don't sell directly to consumers. Too bad; these frames check a lot of boxes!

I guess the good news for you is that you can pick up a Hygge Model S and have that exact frame

Lolwut, it is completely different frame.
I was also looking closely to this one and to Speeder R-55. I would rather prefer this frame as it has T47... If Adapt refuses to take an order from a single customer, I consider a bunch order with the people on the forum. What do you guys think?
-
Finishing looks quite similar to speeder. The fork down tube interface is definitely different. Seems a bit heavier too.
What’s the MOQ across sizes?

Yep Adapt and Tavelo share the same address in Xiamen

A lot of Adapt's framesets are also sold under Speeder. I just asked Speeder if they will sell this in the future and asked a price and geometry. I will let yall know when i get anwser.
-
Update: still no reponse. Maybe the seller is ghosting me bc i asked a lot of questions about the Speeder R-55 without purchasing. Maybe if we all send an e-mail the seller will know there is demand for this frame direct to customer ;)

We must hope that the seller does not ghost his customers who buy and have a problem in the event of after-sales service.

I sent an question to:ALLYN@ADAPT-BIKE.COM; AMIN@ADAPT-BIKE.COM, but none of them response, you used some other email ?
-
justin@speedercycling.com and their build in messages on the site
-
Tried to contact them back in 2022. They replied but apparently they are not interested to deal to direct consumer. Instead they give contact of their client such as Nich for SEA region.

Any update on this frameset? Still not listed at Speeder.
-
I might got the hands on one frame. I will give you guys an update once it arrives :D

Where did you buy? Straight from Adapt? I thought they only do B2B.
-
I told them that I am looking to building a brand (what I am really trying to do) and that I was interested in there frame. Waiting for delivery now. If the frame is any good I will let you know. From the sizingchart I can tell that it is not exactly the Tavelo Arow.
I will give you an updated once set up and tested.

Which frame did you buy?

Do you have any geometry chart for the different sizes, which you can share?
-
I bought the DB-B02. Sizing chart attached. They also told me that there are some regions where the frame is already exclusive for other brands.
If anyone knows what brands have the same sizingchart, please let me know.
-
Yea. That frame is alreadyused in my country, so i cant buy it
-
under which brand is it sold?
-
I don’t know yet and I am not sure they will tell me due to confidentiality

M/L looks perfect for someone like me. I wish I could buy from them.

Hi everyone, I got the frame and it looks good so far. Weight is 800gramm without any paint. Here are some pictures. I will updated you once it is build up and ready to ride :D
-
How much did you pay for the frame and what size is it?

How is the quality of the frame? Mine is still on the painting process.

The price is around the price of Speeder r55D. Not sure if we can give the exact price. Allyn might got angry lol.

Geometries has been added on bikeinsights.

This looks like a great road frame and ticks a lot of boxes. Do you find it worth trying to ask them if they could sell me one or there's no chance?
-
The complete bike photos of this frame on the website lets you know where Tavelo gets their frames from. Even down to the wheels which are literally the same design as Pertual. Tavelo's in-house wheel brand.

I’ll post photos of this frame once it arrives. Hoping to get it early to mid October. I am also trying to find out what brands are using this frame but all I get is similar to Tavelo Arow and some bikes that I find similar have 1 to 3mm off vs this frame. It is also confirmed that they make bikes for Montecci since Allyn redirected me to Montecci when I was inquiring about their frame.
-
Frame is ready to be shipped. Though it will be shipped on Oct 9 because Oct 1-8 is China Holiday so I will receive the frame on mid October. We’ll rely on FenixA’s review of the frame and I will follow through once I received the frame and completed my build

Is it solely T800?
-
Is it solely T800?
I’m not sure, but maybe it’s the same carbon layup as the one listed in speeder which is M40J, T800/T1100. Though they are different frames but I think it is the same.
Edit: just got a confirmation from Allyn that this frame has 2 versions which is standard (uses T800) and Lightweigt (which uses T1000). What I have is standard version.

Well yeah, they're the same company

What do the fork and seat post weigh? Does anyone have theirs built up yet?
-
Frame arrived! Everything looks good. Headset provided is fsa acr no.54. And i also bought their bottom bracket. Which is surprisingly a Token T47i. Steering tube is D-shaped and it’s my first time to have that one. Frame weight has the UDH hanger already included so i guess the true weight of the painted frame is sub 1000 grams(?) for an L frame.
Anyone familiar with the handlebars?

Build finished!
Here’s the list of parts:
Frame: of course Adapt DP-B02
Handlebars: DP-H01 which is also supplied by Adapt
Groupset: Shimano 105 di2 which came from my Yoshun r086D
Cassette: ztto 10-33
Chainring: pass quest 48-35
Wheelset: 206db rsl50c from my r086d
Can possibly still be lighter with carbon crankset or higher tier groupset. I am also planning on changing the wheels to something lighter. Maybe from xcms, serenade, pertual or whichever has good value. Will try to ride tomorrow if weather is good.

How can I get this frame? Is there any way? Can you post some more pictures? Is this one better than the R55D? Thanks
