Title: Dengfu R12/13 Frame Torque Settings
Post by: quarkrad on January 23, 2025, 03:34:15 AM
I'm in the process of building a R13 based road bike - emailed Dengfu but they are on a Chinese Holiday.  I'm missing the torque settings for the Seat Post Wedge and two for the steerer tube Compression Plug and Top Cap (HB015 integrated handlebars).  If any body has put this bike together and could tell me what settings they used it would be most appreciated.

These values are pretty much standard across the industry and do not vary much between manufacturers. For the seatpost wedge is 5Nm max, compression plug is 7-8 Nm, headset compression usually tighten it until no play is present and it should not be more than 2-3 Nm, stem bolts 5 Nm. Saddle clamp depending on style 5-10 Nm.
