TraceVelo saw their wheels at the Shanghai Bike Show. Apparently their 5 spokes carbon wheelset is $600/pair, compared to Elite.

I have managed to get a reply back from DSK! Had to spell check the below and error which is expected

Lightweight T1000 or T1100 carbon rims (hooked): ​These are T1000 , T800 and T700 composite to LAY-UP suitable construction, more stiffness and more flexibility, similar to hookless, but with clincher a little.

Carbon spokes — are these Stren or Vonoa?: ​we use Vonoa from Stren, carbon spoke, but have other good choice.

Rim, spoke, and hub specs — and any technical or product sheets you have:​ Rims 400g for 32mm outer width, 25mm inner width for height 50mm rim

Hub is all pull-through holes with Front 20H / Rear 24H, it is more stiffness and stability and safe important, superlight weight 267g one set hubs.

Prices etc. ​$425/pair. with 1200-1230g.


I’ve followed up and requested some rim profiles, along with information on the available depths and weights, as this isn’t listed on their website. I’ve also inquired about their carbon spoke options and whether they operate solely B2B or if they can also sell B2C—hopefully the latter, especially at those prices!

Hi, has there been any further updates from DSK?  I'd be really keen to get hold of a pair if they really are 1300g and $600 a pair.

No they are not very responsive!!

Zen Carbon could probably do you a set of wheels at $600.
Also maybe XM Carbon if you just tell them a spec and budget they will either say yes or no
What are you looking for spec wise
