Hey there,
I won the frame in the Tideace lottery (other thread). According to them it will take some time until it’s ready to be shipped but since patience is not really my strength I would like to think about a built list already. Will not go crazy on that one but are willing to spent some bucks.
Would be happy to discuss components with you, especially in regards to to fork/rear shock.
Ideas so far:
Frame: Tideace GV202
Groupset: SRAM Mullet
Fork: ??
Rear Shock: ??
Wheels: Nextie 6 Spoke
Handlebar: Lexon Unox
Saddle: Bigrock
Seatpost: not sure if a dropper makes sense?!
Tires: Schwalbe Thunderburt or Conti RaceKing
Pls share your thoughts.

Congrats, sounds like a good start and will be a very cool looking bike with the 6 spoke wheels.
I think a dropper post is a good idea. The bike is heavy so who cares about an extra pound;
And with some suspension you’ll definitely get inspired to take it on rougher trails than usual.

Yeah, I wouln't try to make a weight weenie build out of this.
Lauf would be my first choice for a fork since they're maintenance free. Pricey though. Second choice would be Suntour GVX. You could take a shot with the ali gravel forks if you want to save money.
Rockshox, Suntour, X-Fusion make pretty affordable options for rear shock in 165x38mm. Not sure what else to verify to make sure it fits.
FSA flowtron is a pretty budget dropper option for 27.2 internal routed. If you're dropping more coin, I'd look at PNW dropper posts.

This looks like a spiritual successor to the Niner MCR 9 with upgraded bottom bracket, udh, and storage.
I have had a 165x38 X-Fusion O2 Pro on an XC frame and it was really good but you'll probably need to use the lockout a lot. Hopefully they put some thought into what type of tune they suggest, the Niner X-Fusion shock has a short stroke and a custom tune.
Rockshox Rudy XPLR is pretty good but I would consider the Cane Creek Invert because it is cleaner looking and probably a little lighter. Couldn't tell by the specs or description if it is internal headset routing or if you care about the front brake cable, not much if anything on the market yet for internal routing until the DT Swiss gravel fork is available.
With the AXS mullet and the capability of a full suspension gravel bike, I still like a dropper. Reverb AXS XPLR because why not, the disappointing thing is that the longest drop available today is 75mm. Shame that they didn't go 30.9mm for more Reverb options. Ton of 27.2mm cabled options but every drop bar dropper lever sucks.
Similar taste in wheels as well, I have some aliexpress brand I can't remember 6-spoke carbon marble with Pirelli tires. I love it, but I do get some 80s BMX mags comments every now and then.
I'm sure you've seen similar setups in general internet searches but let me know if you want pics for comparison.

Apparently, due to lack of interest from the market, Tideace decided to not produce the frame. So no build in progress.
