Just got a pair of R7000 pedals off AliX. Unfortunately they are too good to be true :(
I know certain things like shifters and derailleurs are not counterfeited- I assumed this extended to pedals.
The pedals I received had gritty bearings, counterfeit cleats, and the tension adjustment did not have detents and felt like shit when adjusting. I'm sure there are more differences if you look closer.
Currently working on getting a refund.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Fake Shimano pedals are extremely common, only buy them from an authorised retailer, do not buy them off AliExpress/eBay/Amazon.
Same goes for cleats and chains.

Good to know that those aren't legit, we should make a list with legit/non-legit Shimano pieces from Aliexpress, that would be really useful.
For alternative you can have a look at lfz, they make good pedals for cheap:

Eh, when something is this easily ripped-off, you can't really trust a "legit" source on such a platform won't just switch up one day and start selling the fake

Picked up a pair of Ultegra pedals, they were from the seller I bought a bunch of other genuine shimano components from and double the price of most of the obvious counterfeits. Still appears they might be counterfeit? Overall they look pretty good but the notch in the back is often seen as an obvious tell, and they do not have the notch near the Japan text. Overall they look quite clean, click when adjusted and feel reasonable.
