Title: Gravel wheelset - XMCarbonSpeed 53/41 or Elite Aero+ Gravel 45/40

Hi,
Trying to decide which wheelset to get for a gravel bike.
Both the new wheelset from Peter (33 internal, 41 external, 53 deep) and the Elite wheelset (30/40/45) are quite new and barely any reviews on them are available, but maybe you guys have some opinions on these two?  I’d be happy to hear them 😄
I am a bit torn because I love my road set of wheels from Peter, but the Elite wheelset can be had for cheaper on AliExpress, and I like the 45mm depth a bit more than 53.

Hi,
I can’t comment on the Elite Wheels from personal experience, but I’d still vote for Peter’s new gravel wheelset. I’ve put about 200 km on mine so far and I’m very happy with the performance. Depending on the exact build specs (hubs, spokes, carbon layup), you might even get close to the Elite price range.
Unfortunately, my last ride ended in a crash (my own fault), so I’m currently off the bike recovering. I’m sharing my detailed impressions in this thread – feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
