Title: Winspace G3
Post by: simpsong18 on August 19, 2025, 03:36:04 PM
Stumbled upon the Winspace G3 the last week, and now I'm seriously considering it as my next gravel bike. I was curious to know if anyone's gotten their hands on one of the framesets yet? If so, what have been your initial thoughts?

Id get the new yoeleo over the g3, and I think they are both overpriced

Just out of curiosity, what is it about the Yoeleo that you prefer? I've taken a look at it as well.

I have the G2 and was looking forward to buying the G3. However, it has the same tire clearance, they went away from the round seatpost and there is no internal storage! They did add a UDH and T47 which is a nice plus along with it being more aggressive. So it wouldn’t be much of a replacement for my “mellow” G2.
50mm is still a ton of clearance, I would have overlooked everything else if they added internal storage. I love the way it looks, and love some of the paint jobs. Round steertube too, unlike my G2, is a huge plus. That was a bit off a pain to get right.

Since Yoeleo was brought up, it has 2 areas of internal storage, a round seatpost, more clearance, & down tube protection. Although I don’t think it looks as nice and you have one paint option, unless you go custom. Geo’s are pretty similar for a 54cm(ish) cm.

I own both brands and the quality for both is tip top. Can’t go wrong with either. If you like how it looks and are ok with its specs, I see no reason not to go for it. Unless you want to spend half the money on a TanTan or something similar.

I like the look of the Yoeleo one better. Its got the onboard storage compartments inside the frame, bigger tire clearance, they let you choose if you want mounts on your fork or not, it's slightly cheaper, and you can get custom painting if you want. Also it's available now, I think the G3 one is still in a pre-order stage.

New G3 build.  Fits 2.1 Thunder Burts with plenty of clearance at the front and enough clearance in the back.  I was hoping to be able to fit 2.25 tires in, but it definitely won't fit "properly".  Everything else is great, geo fits me well, no complaints.

Do they provide gravel specific handlebars? The ones listed on their website are road handlebars with minimal flare. I think winspace have not really looked at the current trends of gravel cycling. As a previous user mentioned, downtube storage is almost mandatory nowadays, especially because the dowtube is gargantuan in most gravel specific bikes.

Not necessarily: they mention they "engineered for performance and competition".  I don't know any gravel rider, racing in the front who uses those high flare gravel handlebars. So it makes sense they offer it with a min. flare handlebar. Nonetheless, if you ask them they will offer it with their gravel handlebar. They have one in their product range. https://www.winspace.cc/products/adventure-integrated-handlebar (https://www.winspace.cc/products/adventure-integrated-handlebar)

This adventure handlebar seems to be a new addition, mustve missed it.

I hope they do add downtube storage in the future iterations.

With the handles bars on offer they are always measured from top to top?

I’m surprised they don’t go under 40cm, plenty of riders out there riding 38cm on gravel!

Which front chainring do you have fitted there? Am looking for an aero one to fit on my new build and it looks like you have the same sram crank + quarq setup as me.

Wow the carbon black looks way better in real life than the pictures on the website. On the website it looks more grey.

What size G3 is that, how tall are you and what is your inseam/seat height?

Frame is a size med.  I am 178cm (5'10") and have slightly shorter inseam 78cm (30").  The reach is a little short for me so I have a 130mm stem.  The only issue I have fit-wise is the seat tube angle is a little too slack and I have to push my saddle all the way forward, even with a zero setback seatpost.

Thanks that's a big help.
I'm 177cm but with long legs 85cm inseam. So I need a shorter bike without the saddle to bar drop getting too big.
Do you know your seat height BB to top of seat?
