As the title say, any recommendation for a 3L hydration pack for a day ride?
-
USWE has a sale going on.
-
I am way too cheap for that, even on sale lol
-
Do you mean a backpack that accepts a 3l bladder? There's loads of vastly different sizes in that category, from running vests to ul hiking day-/backpacks. So, you might want to specify the size a little more?
I got an Aonijie C9112 for 35 bucks on some sale last year with coins/coupon (50ish without). It's a 12 l pack that will gladly take one of these cheap ali 3l fold-over bladders (Newboler and such) with quite a bit of space to spare for a softshell, bits and bobs, a bit of food or whatever. For some reason, they're now bumped up to 70ish USD on ali. I gladly paid what I paid for the pack (and would buy again), would consider it OK for up to 50ish USD, would absolutely not pay 70.
Judging from my highly scientific research (3,5 or so YT videos), Aonijie packs seem to be well regarded as budget options (except when there is a price hike going on).

Indeed 3L blaser, 5L total maybe.
Tariff is what drive the prices up probably. $70 I would probably buy decathlon or REI stuff.
I am more focused on lightweight and comfort than full on load capacity.

I didn't mention it, but my numbers were ali's EU prices (meaning they include ~20% import tax already).
-
Funny that even price to Europe may have increased too..

Are you sure you want to drink out of an unverified chinese product?
There are already very bad chemicals in more controlled products of brands but directly out of china this would be too much for me personally...
-
I use one of AONIJIE, they have a lot of choice. No wear and tear whatsoever.

Most packs come without bladder, I think - just put in whatever you want.

Honestly if it was something I was using daily, I would maybe have some concerns but on a 5-6 times a year basis, I am not overly worried.
