Was randomly doomscrolling instagram and got served an AliExpress ad for what appears to be a Colnago Y1RS replica.

2025 New carbon road bicycle frame gull-wing handlebars flat-mount disc compatible with Di2 group 700C carbon road bike frameset

First replica I’ve seen of this particular bike, but it was gonna happen sooner or later. The listing has almost no details. Thoughts? Anyone brave enough to take the plunge?  ;D

Also I am seeing the ads in Aliexpress for the same frame, also a bit sketchy those ads are since I can see a lot of folks added them up on their carts, and some
20 plus sales? I am just here waiting here with my pop corn, and being in the UAE I can see them everywhere and starting to doubt other riders whether their builds are using these newly released replica frame LOL

I’ve inquired for few more details on AliExpress, but have not received an answer yet. Has anyone else been down this rabbit hole already?

Only thing holding me back is that I am based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and the Colnago store is always a route for us, let alone I know the sales persons over there LOL


Just looking at the many posts over at FB from asian riders, thai or wherever and have a doubt on their builds LOL

I had also asked for photos from the original seller in the link, out of curiosity more than anything else - wanted to see how they did the bayonet style fork. Never heard a reply which is not a good sign. But yeah since then it's shown up on yohobike so we'll likely start seeing them in people's hands soon enough.
