That's a nice looking bike. Elves can play colors too. Geometry looks OK. But they should reach 40 mm of clearance as they are some road tires in that size already.

Endurance?
That geometry looks way too aggressive.
A top tube of 54.4 is paired with a head tube of 130
to get a decent head tube height, you need to go up to nearly 56 TT - far from endurance geo surely?

Looks great.
Interesting with even higher stack and lower reach than LightCarbon LCR018-D. At least for size 58. However, this Elves frame has smaller wheelbase and less fork offset when comparing to the LightCarbon frame. Definitely interesting combination.
I wonder what the weight will be for size 58.

I would look at stack, not head tube length. 570 definitely seems in the right territory in a M/54ish frame.

Front center is a bit too short. Toe overlap is certain. But that seat tube angle looks bad. 73° across all sizes? ??? Who wants that? If the seatpost is round I could remedy that by mounting and flipping an offset seatpost.

I think they used a taller fork to get more tire clearance. I judge a frame's "endurance" by the TT vs stack. If stack > TT in a ~54cm size it's prob gonna be more comfortable. Truthfully though, this is within range of a regular road bike though

Elves clearly mark it as an all-road performance bike on their Australian website.

73 degrees seat tube angle looks bad >> it just depends on the size.
XMCS Gran Turismo is also 73 degrees in sizes 54 and 56.
And so is my Giant TCR...
Maybe a steeper seat angle is more preferable, but calling it bad is a bit too far imo.

This information sadly leaves me out. My current 58 frame has 73.5° seat tube angle and a zero offset seatpost with the saddle slammed all the way forward. Both me and my bikefitter agree that I should go a bit forward still. Maybe I just have weird leg geometry. Makes a lot of frames not for me :-\

I disagree, while it may be promoted in such way (which would be confusing, because the eglath has always been elves endurance bike) the geometry is clearly endurance

Are there reasons to doubt this method of comparison, e.g. aligning by bottom bracket or something? If it is a good method for finding comparable geometries, then I'd be interested. And might even be able to test toe overlap issues on a recent roubaix in the right size?

Been toying with bike-stats to compare to my old bike fit, yellow is Lightcarbon LCR018D, Blue is the Eglath ARX, both with handlebars by their respective manufacturers
Kind of leaning towards the elves frame (I know, elves isnt the most universally liked brand on this forum...) but I'm really not sure about toe overlap

I have the Eglath Pro in size 53. This new one in size 52 has a Top Tube Length of 555mm, against mine 532mm. Also headtube lenght is like 27mm shorter compared to mine. Otherwise it is very similar, just a slightly longer chainstays.

If any readers here have gotten this bike — how do you think it would do with mechanical shifting?
I ask because the website says it's supported, but it's still internal cable routing, and I've heard that internally routed mechanical groupsets are both horrible to install and don't work as well because the cable path isn't as straight.
