Riding along on my vb 218... my "saddle" was making noise and pop no saddle supporting my weight... the hardware shouldnt do that. Ya I am a bigger rider at 100kg. I didnt over torque them.... It might be a good idea to replace the bolts on seat posts for automotive grade 5 or the a2-70 stainless is good for tension straight. aka what they have in ACE hardware.
