Title: need a gravel crank
Post by: johnnyboy4711 on December 20, 2025, 01:48:32 PM
can you share what you guys are using on your gravel builds for cranks?

for reference
Frame is Lexon GFX BB86/24
senicx PR3 - road cranks but having issues with slippage of crank arm on NDS.
seems like the spindle is a  few mms too short for the BB shell and as a result slipping outwards when riding eventually coming away!

senicx Gravel cranks seem heavy around 750-800grams

thoughts on ZRace Blade?

I use Shimano cranks on all my bikes as I prioritise longevity and reliability over everything else after bad experiences with GXP and seeing friends have problems with DUB. GRX works well whatever the level but 800 series ones are a bit lighter.

What's your budget?
I use road cranks on my gravel bike(s) : sram red/ quarq and shimano ultegra. Maybe have a look at the magene cranks? They have many good reviews. Otherwise, there are many cranks available on the 2nd-hand market.
