Title: Crankset for mondince
Post by: Alexbikes on February 08, 2026, 07:52:03 AM
I would like suggestions on a stiff aluminum crankset that would fit the Mondince gravel bike. I.E. 85.5mm standard and I also want 24mm ideally
Suggestions?

If you want something stiff, avoid anything with cutouts like the one you posted, or with aluminium 24mm axles. You can try Senicx PR3, or GR3 which is theoretically a version for gravel bikes, but I'm not sure if there is any difference between them. I installed PR3 on my friends gravel bike a year ago (she wanted some cheap but reliable 165mm crankset), made a few thousands km and no issues so far. You can find these in 1x or 2x configurations, or just the crank arms (they have 3 bolt GXP mount so there are plenty of chainrings and spiders to choose from), in lengths up from 165mm. It should fit your bike, if you already have a BB for Shimano cranks you don't need anything else.

Senicx cranks are bomb proof. Not light, but solid construction and dependable.
