Title: AXS flattop compatible 110bcd 4s 2x chainring options?
Post by: cnoble87 on February 23, 2026, 06:14:45 AM
Currently using a Stone 1x 110bcd 4s oval chainring on my xcadey xpower s 110bcd 4s powermeter using a force flattop chain. I’m Considering a 2x setup for longer rides in the summer using the same force flattop chain. So far i can only find Pass Quest axs option and carbon ti and i think Rotor do an option.  Are there any other options? Thought it would be a more popular setup but most options are 1x narrowwide only. I’m expecting i will probably need to go back to round rings

Stone already has provided 110x4 with AXS flattop compatible chainrings, at least on taobao:

Yes, I use Stone and Rotor AXS 2x chainrings. In my view, Stone is better shifting than Rotor - and cheaper

I have usde passquest but shifting is mediocre under load. Does stone has better performances?

Talking about PassQuest, I do not have a particular good experience.

Tried their 33/46 2x option (non-flattop version), had a very hard time shifting to the bigger chainring, no matter how many times I tried to tweak the Di2 FD.
Maybe I need an adapter to further lower my FD.

Meanwhile I'm running 33/48 2x from Stone, way better up shifting, not as perfect as Shimano chainrings but very close, even without an adaptor to further lowering the FD.

I always stick to Stone for 2x and Pass Quest for 1x

Can report the same thing, was unable to shift well with the 2x from Passquest despite numerous adjustement. Replaced it with Stone chainring and now shifting is smooth

I have the PassQuest (got the Sprill branding) and it works fine so far, both with the old Sram Rival FD and the new one (E1)
But, as I have it for almost two years (~15,000kms) , I'll try the Stone as well.

Currently I am using THINKRIDER CRANKSET with PASS QUEST chainring, with APEX xplr derailleur, PASS QUEST chainring axs does not fit flattop chain very well, the noise is killing me.

I've had good success with the stone 2x, they were quite noisy initially but have bedded in well, waxed chain seems to help
