Hi,
During my daily searching for a perfect Aethos alternative, I found a frame that claims to be 580g:

Initially I was searching for external cabling routing (not the old fashion fully external cable routing, but the headtube/downtube entrance one), and found their W800 (<= 800g) frame, which doesn't attract me too much due to its weight.
But this one, although fully integrated cable routing, which I hate, has a unbelievable weight, and price.
Not sure if anyone has any experience with the frame/OEM.

somewhat off topic, but i wish we'd normalize hydro hose routing in the front end in a way that's more maintenance friendly. I have a problem with my rear brake and i dont want to look at it because it's going to take me a full day because of the hose running in the cockpit, in the headset, and into the frame. I dont mind internal frame routing, in fact it makes sense, but we really need a simpler front end. And obviously, that's even worse w mechanical shifting. And for traveling by plane, it's such an ordeal.

580g for the bare frame seems to be where the state of the art was for small frames in 2024ish, so that is interesting (e.g,. the Yonex Carbonex)

Think it's a Bigrock Sohtea
PandaPodium lists the Sohtea as follows:
"Frame weights are listed without alloy parts/accessories:
Size XXS (45) : 603g ±5%
Size XS (49) : 615g ±5%
Size S (52) : 626g ±5%
Size M (54) : 638g ±5%
Size L (56) : 675g ±5%
Front fork: 285g ±10%
Note: These are the official weights provided by Bigrock. They claim they exclude alloy parts. We suspect this also means they exclude the T47 thread insert. Therefore, we expect real-world frameweights to be about 60g more than these official weights. (Including T47, front and rear mech hangers.)"
So in the end it might be a bit more than 580 gramms?!

I've seen those frames (Microck, sometimes also labeled as Bigrock...) from one ali seller who at the time had 57% rating, I'll wait for someone more risk-prone to order those. The page had a review showing a scale shot with a 600-ish weight but it was pretty sus since it include a paintjob and seatpost not included in this particular offer.

I recently brought my bike on the plane and was trying to decide which setup to bring. I opted for my older semi-internal frame with Wheeltop GeX. It's like the best of both worlds. Full electronic 1x RD for easy removal, but with external hydraulic cables that has plenty of slack to position the handle bars to the side inside the case. It's just much easier from a disassembly and maintenance POV.

That's exactly why I'm still searching for a frameset with head/down tube hose entrance, and can not hate the current fully integrated cable routing more.
My current frame is CRF51 (https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=912169392489) with customization to remove all shifting cable entrance, which is pretty good, but I still can not resist a lighter frame.

I messaged the microck shop on aliexpress, trying to get more details. They sent me some videos from their fab where you see their microck frames and also some frames with the bigrock logo. They told me they manufacture the frames for bigrock. But I did not get helpful infos on quality and testing..
