Hi guys,
I'm about to build a bike for my friend. She's 171 cm high with pretty long legs.
Can you recommend any modern frame that would fit at least 48mm tyres and have quite relaxed geometry?
It's going to be a budget build, so probably group set will be Ltwoo get

I am confused, does she have pretty, long legs, or pretty-long legs. This makes a difference in frame sizing. Leg inseam length and leg to torso ratio could help others help you.

OP, there are so many options. If you take about 30 minutes or so to review some of the previous posts, you’ll likely find some great options. The search box is actually pretty useful on this site.

... back to the original question. The trend of long frames and short stems for Gravel bikes is a nightmare for that.
The Carbonda 505 would give a short geometry but doesn't allow 48mm tires.
I have seen a model from Tantan which was also very short.and allowed for 50mm tires. I am just not to sure if I could recommend Tantan... of everything goes well it's fine. But they do send out also trash sometimes and then they are crappy in aftersales service.

My wife (she has "pretty" pretty long legs too) just finished her quest for a new gravel bike. We are the same height, 183 cm, but my inseam is 87 cm and hers is 92 cm. As I fit perfectly on a Yoeleo Altera size 56 (which is basically the same as a Scott Addict Gravel 56/L), she needed an Addict Gravel 58/XL after a bike fit.
So my suggestion would be to send her for a bike sizing with a bike fitter, or at least measure her inseam.

OP when you're on your knees with her against the wall, pushing a book up her crotch trying to measure that inseam - make sure not to comment on her PRETTY, long, legs. It's just gonna be awkward.

Back to the topic, her height is 171, 86 inseam.
What I asked was more endurance gravel frame in general, because it's usual for women to have proportionally longer legs and shorter torso that men. Recently I've seen several race oriented frames, but not much of a relaxed geometry, endurance ones. I could experiment with shorter stem, however light, carbon integrated bars and stems have rather standard length from 80 to 110 mm + reach of bars

Isn't the English language an interesting topic? Not really here to school anyone, but how one selects words for the public to read is important. It has nothing to do with a "bunch of teenagers". Punctuation marks and types of punctuation used are important so that what is written can be properly interpreted by all readers. The broader category of typographical symbols and grammar tools just isn't emphasized anymore concerning how the general population learns to speak and write. The person at the top of our administration appears to be almost illiterate and is a horrible speaker. That this is allowed and supported by the public shows how far we have fallen.

I haven't seen a gravel frame with shorter reach if that's what you want.

Not really, no. At least not here. I visit this forum for information on bikes, frames and builds.
Please take into account that majority of people and probably this forum users are not English language natives, and while you think, you're witty, you may be perceived as simply rude.

My Ceccotti RF25/SPCycle G056 has been a banger in terms of comfort and slack fit. If it had UDH, it'd be near perfect. SPCycle has newer gravel frames with similar geometry (plus UDH) that might be good options. I'd also explore shorter crank lengths as well. I'm seeing 160mm and shorter cranks becoming more common, so that's something to keep in mind.

SPCycle G056 has about the same reach (+1mm) but quite less stack (-18mm) so it's less relaxed for a person 171cm with inseam 86cm.
Despite the trend for super short cranks, inseam 86cm isn't a small rider and I doubt super short cranks make sens. At least the shorter the crank the higher the saddel, resulting in a higher saddle to handlebar drop (or more spacers). Redbull Bora was experiemting with super short cranks (some riders less than 160mm) last year, and most riders returned to more traditional lengths. But of course thats individuall preference and everyone should ride what he/she feels most confortable with.
