Hello, I received my Winow fork and was wondering if the fork tube irregularities are safe to ride on. Tap test is fine. It's just that I can see the mold line which are about 0,5mm deep at some spot. The part that worry me the most is where the stem clamp. From the inside, it is perfect, but that vertical line have about 0,25mm deep. Could it be a lack of resin?
Everything looks good once installed. I also noticed that alot of chinese fork looks like that on aliexpress and alibaba.
Thank you

that doesn't look good. maybe load it into you fav AI app and see what that says. have you contacted winow? i would ask them to replace it. having said that once you clamp it with a stem that will go a long way to hold it together. however if its new they should replace it.

I did and they told me that it's just esthetic imperfections. Most of chinese fork looks like that online. My other one is also similar.

if you have a local carbon repair specialist (or even your LBS) take it to them and get an opinion.
