Just ordered the CAMP ACE III frameset and have done a fair bit of digging. Posting everything I've found in case it's useful!
The ACE3 is a full carbon road frame from CAMP Bicycle (campbicycle . com) and full bikes are available for purchase stock with Shimano 105/Ultegra/Dura-ace Di2:

The bike itself looks great. Only thing is the name, if they could do one without the logos it would look even better :D Did you order directly via the website or where in direct contact via whatsapp etc. with a sales rep?

Ordered via Alibaba. From what i was told that is their frame division, and its a different process entirely to purchase full bikes. I'm assuming via email/whatsapp.

Not as cheap as it seemed, maybe because it's not being sold by the manufacturer but by some third party seller...
I contacted them back in March after watching several bilibili teasers. They theoretically arranged the order and gave me a 50 day leadtime. Back then they had to wait for the UCI certificate to arrange orders so that leadtime was somewhat orientative.
Around two weeks after this first convo they sent me proof of their UCI sticker (which is very useful :-X :-X) and sent me a PI.
Last week of April told me that they had already started the production of my frameset and so on. I contacted them early June asking for the status and told me that for the 20th would be ready, they also added that the frame itself was being painted at that moment.
After receiving no more info about the status for almost a month and a half I contacted them again the second of this month and they told me that "something is delay".
I have not contacted them anymore and neither I have received any messages.
By this I do not mean that Camp is not a reputable brand because those who are familiar with the chinese internal market know that it clearly is. I rather want to showcase that Camp are probably overwhelmed with their internal demand in such a high scale that their international focus is rather low at the moment.

I was told and I quote "Production time 50-55 days ( the orders of this models is full, there's a waiting period)". From this, I'm assuming there is a long backlog, I'm happy to wait a couple months but I'll be interested to know if in a few weeks you still have not heard anything back.

To be fair though, China is as capitalist as it gets, ironically. In the sense, here, that we can observe so many players trying to make money, differentiating. We can call it a healthy product category. You have OEM that keep doing their thing, invisible to us (on this forum we never hear of the truly large ones because they dont need our business), you have smaller OEMs that we do see (Long teng, Speeder), you have OEMs/actors that try to brand themselves (XMCS), you have clone peddlers (tantan), you have criminals (Yoho), you have Aliexpress "names" that are different levels of opacity and obscurity (SPcycle), you have Chinese "native brands" like Winspace, Yoeleo, Tavelo, that are usually directly associated with an OEM, you have brokers / middle men / salespeople (velobuild, lightcycling), and so on.
Point being: if people are willing to spend 3+k on an aliexpress bike from a shop that can disappear tomorrow, it's the market economy talking. I call it throwing shit at the wall, but i tend to be cynical. Tons of people want to buy a full bike, and have no idea about components. When you sell a full bike, you get to capture margins on every component, and you appeal to a wider audience. Economically, it makes sense.
Whether that's a smart buy for someone who's switched on is a different matter.
Aliexpress, in general, is going to shit, due to dynamic pricing, tariffs, shipping costs, and general macro instability.

Im trying to understand frame geometyt, isnt frame stack too much big compared to headtube lenght? at least for what the geometry chart says... using bikegeocalc.com they seems wrong

The stack seems to be measured to the top of the stem. This is quite normal for chinese manufactured bikes with this type of design. I think the actual stack would be around 20 or 30mm lower, depending on the "thickness" of the stem. And then on top of that will be the rise of the handlebar. But more information from the manufacturer would be helpfull.

Seller said is not on the top of the stem. But between stem and fork. So she's asking to engieneer team is it's correct.

From the geometry chart, it says it supports 32c...maybe 35c will fit.
I didn't notice that on the alibaba link itself so I assume the maximum tire it can take is 30c. Other than that, I think this is a pretty interesting bike.

I believe the demand in non-western markets is huge and lead times are long so I would expect delays in communications (not saying this is acceptable but understandable).

I am also in discussing with Jessie, and do not expect instant responses. Sometimes its quick reply from her but usually a few hours before a reply. and I am in Australia which only 2 hrs ahead. I assume she has hundreds of messages to respond to.

I think the timezone difference is a tough one and the hours she works are a bit off. I noticed when communicating with her that she would often be online in what would be late night in China (9pm-12am) when it was morning for me in Canada (9am-12pm EST). But overall she has been great in answering lots of questions and even let me know that she could ship two frames for the same shipping price as one so I ended up picking up a different camp frame (gx600) for my daughter to build up a bike for her.

I have had good comunication with her aswell even if her english is worse than mine :D I ordered the Ace 3 and a GX700 to build a commute/gravel bike. They offer 105 di2 for 798 dollars wich seems hard to beat even if i hade SRAM in mind i will probably go for shimano because of the price.

Nice, I was tempted by the 105 di2 groupset but am going to put LTWOO ERX V3 on the Ace 3. Which colour did you end up going with on the ACE 3?

I got a special paint job for the GX700, det teal colour on the back of their teal/yellow/red paint scheme so CAMP seems to be able to give som customisation on their frames.

Haha, that's the same as i got but i guess they callcenter it different names then :) I ordered and payed august 17 so i probably have some time left until it finishen and shipped.
Pulled the trigger on this frameset plus 105 Di2. Chose the Black glossy frameset with black logos for a stealth look.
Overall, going to be a budget build 105 di2 group, Kore 50mm Wheelset, Magene PM. All around ~2700USD, which is a steal.
Looking forward to getting the frame and sharing my experience on this thread.

I'll weigh it when I receive it. Its size 52, I am guessing 1000-1100g ball park. Acceptable for a T800 frame for 515USD :)

Curious about the frame, there's a lot that can go wrong. The bayonet thing is extremely boutique, and the bars could be a slop fest. All that innovation at that price point is both interesting and scary. Did you buy via alibaba?

Its was standard black glossy colorway stock photo, and I used AI to black out the logos as example for manufacturer of what I wanted (no extra fee). There is 2 month production time on these frames.
Yes bought via alibaba. Agree its a bit of a gamble. Happy to be a guinea pig for this frame.
Information from Jessie:
The factory will be closed for the Chinese National Holiday from 1st–3rd October, and their freight forwarding partner will be closed from 1st–7th October. So expect some additional delays in getting frames manufactured and shipped out.
been on the look out for some Golden Week sales but not seen anything except from ICAN. I'm on the fence re: this frame cause of the weight - seriously considering the Camp SR9 though

How does the stem interface work is it the same as the cervelo? Can you add and remove spacers if you want/need?

Have they got more stem lengths/bar widths available now? I'm looking for 130/360 and they didn't have anything close to this when I originally asked.
Not sure, they didn't have my cockpit option listed but when i asked they could make it happen but i have a more reasonable 110/380 ;)

If I understand correctly, you dont cut the steerer tube for that kind of front end. You can only add some shims if you want the handlebar a bit higher. Can you add/remove them easily?

I'm really interested in the overall robustness of the front end assembly design and stiffness. I am considering this frame but I'm just under 100kg. I haven't seen details about how the stem connects to the steer, and the bolts on top could be proven (Cervelo's design) or it could be a weak point (axial tension force spread across only two fasteners with play that creates a lever).

Does anyone know the effective seattube angle? I am trying to work out what length stem I need. I am thinking it's a bit steeper than 73 degrees for size 520 by the looks of it. ???

I pulled the trigger. Size 540, asked for carbon black with all black logos.
I got my frames yesterday and unpacked them today. I would say that i am really pleased. The paints are nice, it seems to look like a well made frame but there was some debris in the threads for the bottom bracket but i could just clean it out. Now i just have to wait for the back friday sales to get a groupset and som wheels.

I dont have a scale so not sure but I think someone else weighd the same size as me, 54.The paint was damaged in one spot and Jessie at CAMP told me it was during shipping but i am pretty sure that it is not. It was well packaged and it probably happend if they faced the frame or from the handling in the factory.
