I was browsing Light Cycling website to check out their new aero frame and found their new HT offer:
MF05: 850g for size S, 66 degree HTA

The geometry matches 100% to the new SpCycle Super Light M038. That means both Light Cycling and SpCycle are sourcing their HT frame from the same factory. Cost + shipping is the same from both of them. However, Light Cycling adds extra values:
- extra QA
- cleaning BB thread
- check caliper mount
- pre-installed internal guides
- sound dampening foam tubes

This one might be the base of my new future dropbar mtb.
Specs say 1x Drivetrain Only but pictures show front derailleur cable routing... 🙄

I've been dreaming about an ultra light Mondraker Podium RR SL for a while. This frame is 100g heavier than Mondraker's, but at 1/4 the cost. It might fulfill my dream then. The question is, should I build it as a XC bike for local SoCal mtb races, or build it as a dropbar hardtail gravel bike for Belgian Waffle Race in San Diego.
