Hey everyone, is it me or there are more and more products that are not shipped to France anymore ? When i change my address to Germany or Italy i could order it.
i noticed that mostly on carbon cranks with/without powermeters and electronic groupset (ltwoo/whaleroad).
Example pp5 crankset (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005010785073577.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.5.c6a431fbDhmCtJ&algo_pvid=656eb291-9068-4c53-a8cd-ac4645c23501&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%2218%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%2C%22fromPage%22%3A%22search%22%7D&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A%7Cx_object_id%3A1005010785073577%7C_p_origin_prod%3A)
I've read some other french Chinertown users reporting it but does anyone knows more about this restriction ?
Maybe try superbuy.com. I received my first box yesterday, as recommended by someone else on the forum. Shipping is still super expensive, but you circumvent a bunch of shenanigans.
It's a process, but it seems to work.
I'm turning into an old man who's angry at the government, and the current EU taxation on everything Chinese really, really pisses me off.
yup, i've complained about that before and was going to complain again because i plan on getting carbon cranks this 11/11 sale. apparently the french government restricted the sale of untested carbon cranks
if there are enough of us, wouldn't it be beneficial to plan a group buy?
cyclegears and pandapodium both used to carry bigrock cranks i'm pretty sure, but they've apparently been pulled off the site ???

I doubt that will ever make sense because shipping anything across the EU quickly costs 50 eur, but just in case, i'm in the market for a carbon crank, 165mm, with 52/36 and or 54/40. I expect to buy it via superbuy, and buy a bunch of other stuff at the same time, like handcuffs and dild0s.
