Re: Carbonda FM909 I was talking to Carbonda Adam via Skype. He usually responds very soon.
Rear boost OLD is a bit too wide, measured as 150.0mm, wheel ends goes beyond its slot, a bit annoying when i put.

Ride is good. not as nimble as EPIC FS but decending fast. it is not that stiff but not feeling major flex.

Re: LCFS911 full suspension Some images for inspiration of a fantastic bike that I built for my wife. She loves it and it has made her a better rider. 120 mm FOX 34 in front, Deore 11 speed.

Re: LCFS911 full suspension After one or the other post on how to build, please find a couple of pics of the final result. I'd like to thank the forum as the ideas and also other detailed pictures helped me a lot.
Of course, this paintjob is very, very personal and surely not everyone's taste. I'm a big sucker for the 90s and always wondered what a modern Klein would look like. This could be it, as a modern tribute to the former world-class brand.
I love it. For me, building this lcfs911 gave me the opportunity to build something unique like this.
Technically, the bike is solid. It features an eagle gx group with a lightcarbon wheel Set and a fox rc32 fork.
Stay healthy!

Re: Pulled the trigger on the Elite Wheel DRIVE wheelset At first I didn't pay much attention to this company because I never heard of them before but now they're really growing on me.

The weights are competitive with the best Chinese carbon spoke wheels on the market from Farsports & Vortex who themselves are not far behind the current market leaders in Lightweight and Mavic. Of course I'm not expecting world-beating stiffness and general performance from Elitewheels but the cost/gram value proposition is undeniable.

Elitewheels as a company are also becoming more credible to me since they're sponsoring the China Glory continental team. Clearly there's some money behind them.

Here's my rudimentary working list of carbon spoke wheelsets (40-50mm range depth, disc tubeless) if anyone's interested:
Cadex
   42 / 1327g, 42mm depth, 23mm external
Unaas
   50 Supreme / 1344g, 51mm depth, 26.2mm external
Winspace
   Lun Hyper / 1455g, 50mm depth, 26mm external
Speeder
   SLP / 1400g, 45mm depth, 28mm external
Elitewheels
   DRIVE 40D / 1260g, 40mm depth, 28mm external
   DRIVE 50D / 1300g, 50mm depth, 28mm external
Magene
   EXAR DB45 Pro / 1400g, 45mm depth, 27mm external
Vortex
   No Compromise / 1280g, 40mm depth. 26mm external
Farsports
   Ventoux S4 EVO / 1295g, 45mm depth, 26mm external
HUNT
   Aerodynamicist / 1352g, 44mm depth, 29mm external
Scribe
   Elan Wide+ 42 / 1370g, 42mm depth, 30mm external
   Elan Wide+ 50 / 1415g, 50mm depth, 30mm external
Mavic
Cosmic Ultimate UST Disc / 1225g, 45mm depth, 27mm external
Lightweight
Obermayer Evo Schwarz Ed / 1230g, 48mm depth, 24mm external
Meilenstein Evo Schwarz Ed / 1380g, 48mm depth, 24mm external

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Here’s a pic of my completed build.
No big issues for me. Front disc brake caliper mounting points I think need to be faced, as no matter how much adjustments I do, there remains a tiny bit of rub.
Unfortunately the part for facing that is very expensive.
And otherwise, I thought the port where the front derailleur cable leaves the frame was fiddly and a pain, but I got it in the end.

Got them to send me the frame in bare carbon and I did the paint myself. Also added the Winspace Lun wheels which I really like.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Thanks @eucalyptus! This really means a lot and I owe the majority of my overall Chinese frame intrigue (and troubleshooting) to the lovely folks in this very forum.

Here is a link to my latest 168 follow-up video. There's probably not a lot of new information in the video if you've spent time in this particular 168 forum/thread. But sometimes it's still nice to see a visual representation.
