Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
I actually took off the stem so am confident there was no force compressing the steerer.

At first I just wanted to switch to something "safer", however now it's more out of necessity as the stock expander is not gripping well internally and slipping up when I compress the headset (using carbon paste as well).

I switched to this one. Works a lot better, no slipping issues.

I used one of these in my VB-R099 - Quite a tight fit (Needed to tap it with a rubber mallet to get it in) but it works very well:

If I remember rightly, it was lighter than the stock plug, despite being considerably longer.

Re: Fovno Crank sets Another day, another new crankset! The FC-PR2-A1 from SENICX is the lightest one in their lineup. 29mm alloy axle and CNC chainrings. The FC-PR2-A2 variant has lower spec chainrings and you can tell them apart at the SRAM 3 bolt interface area. A1 has a circular intent there while the A2 is completely flat. Choose the FC-PR3-A1 or FC-PR3-A2 if you want a 24mm steel axle.

Re: Speeder SC-R48 I exchanges emails with Longteng bikes about their superlight LTK036. The weight of size 50cm is 780+/-30g in carbon finish . And each larger size will be about 30g heavier. The price of the frame is $420 usd/set (Frame+Fork) in carbon clear coat or matte finish .  I will add pictures. This is the weight for a size 55.

Re: Any chinese frames using high modulus carbon like the real Specialized frames? The upcoming Elilee Blize will have an ultralight 680g variant constructed from a mixture of Toray T1100 and M40X. You also have the Dizo Epic Pro which is constructed from Mitsubishi MR70 and Dyneema. These two won't be cheap and they certainly won't they sit at that 2-3K US sweetspot. According to Elilee, T1100 costs 5x of T800 and M40X costs 10x of T800...you do the math. For reference Elilee's top level EVO XXE triathlon frame retailed at around 4.5K US in China. Finally you have the not-as-high-end Pardus Robin Evo that employs a mixture of T1100, T800 and M40 for its carbon layup.

Do note that carbon supply is massively constrained worldwide which means that there is next to no excess material left for no name brands. Since imported material is hard to come by and there are actually export restrictions placed on top level T1100 due to military applications, most open mould makers source their material from Sinofibers who produce T1000 and T800 domestically in China. Sinofibers has small batch T1100 & M40X equivalent material (ZT9 & ZM40X) on top of their recently commercialised T1000 but currently only T800 (ZT8) is mass produced and readily available. Besides Sinofibers, Tianshun produce T800 equivalent material (TS800) and are also working on their own T1000.

Re: Chasing wind-GT20 OR Airwolf YFR045 carbon Gravel frames , any experience ? I got my frame from CWind, I did not even realize that there is a model name.  ;)
The frame arrived well packed and the paint job is pretty good. Although the gloss is not completely even in all areas...

Re: Chasing wind-GT20 OR Airwolf YFR045 carbon Gravel frames , any experience ? The build was completed with the Sensah SRX 1x11 groupset. The breaks are cable activated ZRACE BR-005 hydraulic disc.
I had an older 105 crankset lying around that I combined with a Stone 42 tooth chainring and a ZRACE 11-46 cassette.
The build went really smooth and I decided to install only semi internal cabling to prevent sharp bends on the compressionless break housings. The weight comes in at 8.7kg for the bike including pedals, bottle cages and Garmin mount.

First impressions are very good but only 150km so far...

Here some pictures:

Delihea Hello, who knows this seller delihea?

I found frames, especially the gravel, that i never seen before.
They are sold with painting at a competitive price.

Delihea sells a few components too on aliexpress.

Did someone already had business with them and can share experience and/or review of their products?
