Some experiences with Spcycle official sotre recently? I'm considering to buy a gravel frame directly from website. I had no issues buying from SPCycle. Though I would order from AliExpress, plus use a credit card for an extra layer of protection. This way you can bring up a dispute through AliEx and as a last resort do a charge back through your credit card provider. I would make sure they send you photos of the frame before shipping, video record your unboxing and double check the entire frame before assembling. I do this with all my bike frameset purchases. Also check if they have your frame already in-stock, it'll speed up the shipping process. My frame in-stock arrived in exactly 14 days to my doorstep in the USA. The frame itself was okay, the interior carbon wasn't as clean as either my TFSA built road bike or my Taiwan made carbon gravel frame. I needed to sand the disc fork hole to fit the brake cable. Plus I'm not a fan of PF BB86, but I used a threaded PF bottom bracket that's been creak free and spinning just fine. I'm still riding my SPCycle road frame with no problems. Stiff ride, but fast. New G056 on it's way !
Been lurking here reading as much as I can and finally pulled the trigger on a frame. It is a Sp G056 but bought from another seller. I also have a set of Elitewheels (28mm internal with X weave pattern), an integrated bar, etc ordered but I am stumped on a groupset to choose. I have read of people having issues with internal cabling and mechanical groupsets but I would like to keep the cost down. At the moment I can get a new 105 2x FULL mechanical group or a Rival AXS 1x electronic group (minus crank). Unfortunately the Rival has a max cassette of a 35t. Either of these is around $1000 CDN and in stock locally. After a lot of adjustments with the headset (couldn´t get the point on which the headset had no play but worked smoothly), top bearing on my bike was broken during a ride. Maybe due to a shim that I installed, wich applied too much load on bearing. I replaced the headset bearings with the reference for Specialized Tarmac SL7 & SL8, 49.5x40.5x6.5. Someone has ec90 saddle from aliexpress? I have been using EC90 saddle with steel rail and it has been fine. I am also trying out their carbon rail one and it is a little bit more harsh and the rail was 7x10mm instead of 7x9mm which made install didn't work for one of my bikes. April 14, 2024, 09:56:50 AM |

Why not make the tire clearance 50mm or more? That is what a lot of people want. Please! The chainstay of G068 is a symmetrical design. Tires wider than 50C cannot be installed. We installed 50C tires on the sample frame. But the gap between the two sides is only 4mm. So we recommend that the maximum tire clearance is 47C. April 17, 2024, 03:57:16 AM |

Hello, someone tested trasparent frame protective layer? something with good glue without paint damages when removed? thanks I've had good luck with the generic clear helicopter tape for quick dirty protection. If you want a fitted kit to really wrap a frame and make it pretty, I would spend real money for a kit that has been meticulously designed for your frame.
