Re: 500mm Axle to Crown fork I actually have one of these forks (or at least it looks the same). I bought it from elita one a few years back on sale. The quality of the fork was half decent.

My issues where: the post mount for the brake was not compleated flat (needed to be faced), the through axle was super heavy, and the fork had somewhat limited tire clearance (2.3 if I remember).

The 480mm should be fine since the 26mm is supposed to correct for the sag of the fork.

Re: Generic carbon fork by various manufacturers / brands I have an SP cycles fork on my 29er, never abused it to speak of, it's still going strong.
Quality seems good, no complaints.

Re: Generic carbon fork by various manufacturers / brands That's good news :-)
Can't describe how it rides really, would just say give it a go, you'll always be wondering otherwise lol. I enjoy it, but grew up riding rigid.
My other bike is a full sus monster truck, so it provides a bit of yin Yan balance to life.

Re: Generic carbon fork by various manufacturers / brands I've bought a couple carbon forks in the past from Ali. All needed their disc brake mounts to be faced but I work in a bike-shop and have access to the tools to fix this. I thin koverall quality was low, particularly on my Trifox one but it was light. Another no-name one split randomly along the steerer whilst running less torque than seller recommended. However, once setup, they all worked fine in my opinion. I'd double check facing of the brake mounts and possibly expect to very gently sand down the base of the steerer tube as these are often not even or smooth as you' d expect.

Currently I have a Selcof 29er carbon fork but the A2C is too much but i adjusted using a different stem. I am currently enquiring about getting a Massi carbon fork. 480mm A2C is perfect for me, it is light and looks good but the price is quite different from AliX specials.

Re: Easedon Wheels on Aliexpress Out of interest, does anyone know who the rim manufacturer is for these Easedon wheels ?

Re: Easedon Wheels on Aliexpress I paid US$388 delivered which includes a 10% tax us suckers in Australia have to pay. This doesn't include a US$40 cashback through a 3rd party app (which I have since received) and aliexpress shopping credit of US$33.

Wheel specs are 25mm inner,  32mm outer, 50mm deep, standard steel spokes, and the mid weight rim option (the lightest option was not recommended even though I weigh 72kg). Weight was 1360g bare which is acceptable to me.

Wheel tension was even (max deviation was 1 measurement unit on the park tool tension meter), wheel was true lateral and radial, a peek inside each spoke hole shows sufficient engagement with the nipple (ie not sticking out too far or too recessed in).

Done about 600km over the past few weeks and I am happy with the purchase. Will pickup a 30mm inner version for my gravel bike on 11.11.

Re: TAGOOLA AliExpress 11.11 Global Shopping Festival
I've been looking at EliteWheels Gravel sets, but the discounts (both AE and PayPal) seem to disappear overnight, plus pricing changes (granted these are currency fluctuations, but this affects the discount threshold in AUD).

The AERORAPTOR 40 ALL ROAD caught my eye, seems to be similarly specced to the Elite's SLR Gravel option?

Any issues with this wheelset? I don't particularly trust AE feedback system... Would you pick these or an Elite alternative?

Indecisive about the spoke selection too - would the CN AERO416 be a better option over CN AERO418 for mostly road and light gravel? Are these on par with the Pillar 1423?

I love so much my Tagoola wheels. Matter is always responsive and very helping.

You can ask him for the choice of the spoke.

Re: TAGOOLA AliExpress 11.11 Global Shopping Festival Aeroraptor 50 mm with carbon spokes (paint less finish) - 1170 g.

Only a little ride of 40 km but I love them. I will make a longer review after more rides.

Re: TAGOOLA New Brand Launch:Carbon Fiber Road Rims and Wheelset Promotion
Just a short update on that, Matter kindly offered me to look into that, so I did contact Tagoola(/him) on Aliexpress on the 27th of September. He assured me everything is fine and it as usual with standard Aliexpress shipping. Which was totally fine with me as when I ordered the expected date for arrival was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct. Also I appreciated the good communication. However nothing happened until 7th of October and I decided to ask again[1]. I then got some answer I did not understand fully:

Aliexpress wasn't helpful either in that matter.

So all in all this is not the best experience until now, a frame I ordered at the same time with Aliexpress standard shipping arrived on the 24th. Not to mention all the smaller parts that shipped in no time. I probably have to use the tires of another bike to finish my build and check if everything else is alright  :(.

[1] as the sorting, flight and customs process usually takes two weeks in Europe. So unless something happened the expected date would not be possible.
[2] estimated delivery time was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct when I ordered. I am not sure where they got that new date.

So the wheels arrived at the customs office on 28th or 29th after asking Aliexpress twice to speed up the shipping (apparently they have influence over this). The letter that the wheels arrived I got on the 4th of November. However I called the office on the 30th and asked the kindly for the package number, which worked.

The wheels came packaged okay, they were inside weight spec and they are build well for the price. The tubeless valves were not installed and even though I was told to get some spare spokes there weren't any inside the package. Overall not a good shipping and support experience, but the wheelset very good considering the price I think.

Is there anything tagoola offers that wolud rival the Elitewheels SLR Gravel (maybe also SLT)? At least 25mm rim width and hooked is mandatory for me, maybe 24.2mm if the price is better.

Re: TAGOOLA AliExpress 11.11 Global Shopping Festival
It seems Tagoola don't have a website?

AE is being shonky AF - price went up overnight, while in my basket! This cannot be the exchange rate:

Here is their website :
https://www.tangoola.com/

You have a lot of choices and be able to find what you want.
