Re: Twitter G2 budget alloy gravel frameset
My frame set finally arrived after around 90 days. The total cost was:
I can confirm that the finishing on the fork is a bit rough. I hope the brake caliper will fit properly without needing any facing on the fork. My frame also came without a headset or seat post clamp. December 24, 2025, 03:33:03 AM |

Re: Twitter G2 budget alloy gravel frameset
I finally found the time to put most of this together. I just have to bleed the brakes and wax the chain. I encountered an issue with the Kocevlo X01 integrated bars. The included compression ring was far too thick, leaving a large gap at the headset. I ended up designing and 3D printing my own compression ring to get the fit flush. I installed a 105 Di2 groupset. This is a bit of an overkill for a cheap frame like this. However, I already had it sitting in a box from another project. The rest of the components are Elitewheels SLR Gravel and a Magene PES515 crank. All in, weighing about 9.2kg, which is definitely not a weight weenie build, but no surprises there.
