Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets
Hi guys, I’m using an 11-36 hg cassette with absolutely no issues (although I don’t shift into big big or small small ever) with a 50/34 and another with a 46/30 upfront and zero shifting issues. August 19, 2025, 02:26:56 PM |

Re: First bike build - Need opinions
It is worth considering 105 Di2 given that there's not a lot of price difference between ER9 and 105 now (maybe 150 EUR or so if buying grey market from AliExpress). Also consider whether you want a power meter or not. For me, a power meter on a road bike is a non-negotiable, but it depends on whether that data is important to you or not. Crank spider versions are the cheapest, but what's available will depend on your crank choice now. For the crank, you might as well go DUB rather than 24mm, slightly lighter with no compromises given you're on T47. And lastly, consider tubeless! Setup on my Tagoola Aeroraptor wheels was very easy with a Pirelli P-Zero RS tyre - seals no trouble with a floor pump. Your Tagoola wheels come pre-taped and tubeless valves are in the box. Re: First bike build - Need opinions
Some solid component choices there! For the cassette, I'd consider one of the all-steel cassettes for improved durability. E.g., this one (variant "newULT 12S 36T Black"): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007624681972.html And there are reports that non-Shimano chains - e.g., KMC X12 - work better with aftermarket cassettes - though I have no personal experience with this. The Senicx crankset are solid, and probably the cheapest way to get 165mm crank arms these days. Though as raisinberry777 suggests, you can pick the PR2 DUB model, which saves some weight: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005817410741.html Regarding the tyres, I think the rank goes Pirelli P-Zero Road -> Race -> Race RS. With decreasing rolling resistance and increasing price. In my market, GP 5000 tube-type clinchers are quite a bit cheaper than Pirelli, so I opt for the Continentals instead. But I'm sure they're both excellent tyres. October 11, 2025, 09:24:11 PM |

Re: First bike build - Need opinions
Already have power pedals so I'll just transfer those from my current bike ! Oh nice, the power pedals makes that all a bit easier then. To use the DUB PR2 crank you'll also need the DUB bottom bracket for T47i - I saw in your other post you'd picked up on that. I use Orange Seal Endurance - has worked fine for me and seems to be generally pretty well regarded. Not really any budget options so I'd just go for whatever is locally available. Stan's, Silca, Joe's No Flats are all decent alternatives if the Orange Seal isn't available. 105 with a chain and cassette should be a little cheaper than that at this link here? https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOltmyh Again up to you whether it's worth the extra though. Re: First bike build - Need opinions
I switch to DUB, I need a BB with 29mm spindle hole like the T47-29I for ZTTO ? Yes, that's the one. October 12, 2025, 08:01:55 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
Build is finished. Everything was smooth. I find that the wheels' logo match so good with the frame's logo. Long review next week if I can ride it. 7,5 kg with heavy pedals. October 17, 2025, 06:11:54 AM |

Re: TAGOOLA AliExpress 11.11 Global Shopping Festival
My order from Tagoola for Super Six 2.0 wheelset came today. Ordered October 20th so super fast. Specs: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005009994846220.html? I've made two changes to the original spec: 1. Narrower 3.8 mm carbon spokes 2. Drain holes on the rim. First impresions are good. I received additionally decals, valves and report. I'm not a specialist but front wheels tension looks a bit off.(EDIT: I wanted to put it to calculator, but something is wrong. There are 12 records for drive and non drive side each, but wheels are laced with 21 spokes) I need to check in the calculator if it's ok. Rim tape is already installed from factory. Hubs are with bigger flange but have open style of the spokes. Rim finish is something that was the main reason for me of buying this set and I'm very happy how it looks. For 50 mm depth rims and 26 mm IW weight is good at 1285 g. November 06, 2025, 02:29:27 PM |

Re: TAGOOLA AliExpress 11.11 Global Shopping Festival
Matter is sending a ratchet and also a new tubeless valve for the rear. He gifted me some spare spokes and some bar tape. That is a good news. Congrats to Tagoola for this good after-sales service. November 07, 2025, 12:18:25 PM |

Re: Shimano di2 groupsets from aliexpress
Just ordered an Ultegra Set (only electronic parts) from Anrancee: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010225323731.html Just be aware that this set is for rim brakes and cable-actuated disc brakes, not hydraulic disc brakes. November 13, 2025, 06:08:22 AM |
