Hi everyone! These are a few things you must buy if you don't want people to call you out. 1.Ceramicspeed T47A BB, it comes in anodized blue, it is solely made for factor bikes and comes default in the genuine pizza box 2. Black factor bartape. comes default in the pizza box, and it is also a really good bartape. 3. Original headset spacers set, the transition spacer has the "SLT by ceramicspeed". But you don't need to change your headset bearings to the SLT ones, as no one will be able to see your bearings. 4. Black Inc bottle cages, the titanium screws have printed "black inc" on it, will greatly reduce the suspicion, say they are complimentary from the bike shop, make it seem genuine. 5.original seat post cover that has the factor logo imprint 6. rubber grommets cover for DI2/AXS, those small covers have the factor logo imprints too. I've got a Cema T47A bottom bracket, they have only 1 size for the T47 BB. Bartape I used Lizzard Skin and now I have Deda Elementi Perforated (quite light and still comfortable) Saddle, I used Fiziks, SMP, Selle Italia, but now I have on the bike a Cheap Ryet AliExpress saddle because it's lighter than the big brands and still comfortable. If you care for not being called out, do the pro tips from OralMaster, you also need Black Inc Wheels, fakes costs around 600 euro's second hand are they going for 1500 euro's new are they the double. Also, do not use any Chinese groupset, (LTWOO / Wheeltop / SENSAH) then you will be called out as well. At least here on the forum. Good luck the V2 looks insane! May 27, 2025, 09:40:00 AM |

Thanks! I’ve noticed that many T47a bottom brackets list compatibility with shell widths ranging from 77–79 mm or even 77–83 mm (like this one: https://shorturl.at/XVylJ). The BB shell width on the Factor Ostro VAM is 77.5 mm, and I’m using a Shimano crankset, so I need a 24 mm spindle diameter. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004983345294.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.21.212d1802Jcm5IW I ordered this one in 155 width, not sure its available from this seller anymore. I would go normal version since the weight difference isnt worth double the money. Interesting, RK said that the green one was available, which is the one I had asked about. You don’t need a “carbon expert” to know that it’s clearly UD carbon fibre with clear coat over the top, and not painted. There is absolutely no way to differentiate what a frame is made from, so impossible to say if it has T1100/T1000. All carbon frames will flex to some degree if squeezed. Yep normal looks like the imperfect nature of UD Raw carbon underneath a gloss finish. No different than what I see underneath my Genuine SL8 and X68 (SL8) But the “carbon expert” said it was partly painted and full of cracks 😂 December 01, 2025, 03:47:54 AM |

The bump is there for good reason - it's so you don't jam your seatpost down any further and crack the seattube where it starts to narrow. Max insert depth is simply the point at which your seatpost hits that bump stop. April 02, 2026, 03:14:24 PM |

if your seat post is too long, just cut it. It's standard practice. I've cut seat posts for various bikes because not everybody's got long legs. Also, at some point, it's dead weight to have more insertion than you need. There's also a question of ride quality. The right length of insertion (that's what she said) vs max length (virtually always what she prefers) should result in less comfort, and different ride quality. I dont think anyone ever bothered to quantify it, but intuitively, it makes sense. Bottom line: cut the seat post, dont go inside to sand the frame so you can insert extra, extra seat post. I use a hack saw w a cheap blade and a spray bottle to precipitate the carbon dust, and a mask. The spray bottle works better than the mask. April 03, 2026, 04:43:57 AM |

Composite engineer here: Btw for everyone good practice but maybe mix in a bit of soap! Works a bit better. The dust the saw produces isn’t as fine as sanding and stuff. Nonetheless you should be aware that the fine dust can end up in your skin too and produces irritation and can end up in an allergic reaction to carbon dust.
