Re: 1x aero chainring and cranks - options
you can get the passquest rings in all different kind of designs so they should fit a also the widely available 3 bolts system from scenicx https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005006641832715.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.17.21225c5fCYdaIY&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu I agree with fhold. The cheapest and best option seems Pass Quest 3-bolt aero chainring + Senixc crank (DUB or 24mm spindle) So just Pass Quest ring with the 3-bolt Sram connection: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGuBuYK Available up to a 58t chainring And then Senicx crank. Either PR2 if you have/want a DUB bottom bracket. Or the PR3 if you want to use a 24mm axle/BB: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ2DV26 Should be between 100 and 150 euros. I use both the Senicx crank and the Pass quest rings on my gravel bike. But I have the Pass quest 104BCD chainring, because I use the XCadey power meter as a spider on the Senicx cranks, using the 3-bolt connection. April 23, 2025, 05:01:34 AM |

Re: New VeloBuild gravel race frame in the works...
Frames are starting to come off the production line! Check out some photos here: https://www.velobuild.com/products/2025-velobuild-carbon-fiber-racing-gravel-bike-frame Medium size frames will be available to ship at the end of May and other sizes in June. We also offer a flared version of the handlebar (both integrated and separate bar/stem) if you are interested in this. We're working on making this option available on the website. For the time being you can just let us know you want this after placing an order online April 24, 2025, 08:15:10 PM |

Re: New VeloBuild gravel race frame in the works...
Looking good but judging by the pictures it's a one screw saddle clamp design like on the VB-R-268, correct? I think a two screw design is way better especially on rough terrain. On the 268 a lot of people have issues with tilting seats. +1 for that. One bolt seat clamps is the worst thing on earth and just does not work for gravel. Few bumps here and there and the saddle tilts. Been in this situation on various saddles too many times. That's the one thing holding me back from trying this frame. Are there any plans to develop a two bolt saddle clamps @velobuild? April 27, 2025, 12:52:28 AM |

Re: SL8 Replica Build
for those who have seen my white factor in the other thread, known for its smooth interal layup. The same seller has listed out his high end SL8 replica with replica darimo handlebar and seatpost the weight is sub 700g for a size 54 painted frame, do note there will not be s-works/specialized decals. ![]() he is selling it for 7000rmb including postage within china wechat contact: ofo901 do note he is not selling on either taobao/aliexpress, so you will have to sort out the payment(he only accepts alipay transfer) and shipping (a forward shipper to ship your frame from the designated warehouse to your location) May 03, 2025, 09:59:32 AM |

HongFu FM309 - TT/Tri bike
HongFu has a new TT bike on show at the Shangai bike show (saw a picture thanks to a Slowtwitch forum member). It's under their direct to consumer "Avenger" brand Since there is a bit of interest on the forum in TT bikes (with the ICAN, Velobuild and Winow threads). I reached out to HongFu for some more details. They responded with some more pictures and the geometry chart. The bike should be for sale in 2025 via their Avenger brand. What are your experiences with HongFu? Geometry and pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() May 09, 2025, 07:16:02 AM |

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Quote Thanks for your patience and for keeping us accountable.Hey VeloBuild.Bikes. Would it be possible to post some high-quality, real-world pictures of the finished frame here for us? To check how it looks, details, and what the quality of the painting is? June 27, 2025, 12:51:50 AM |

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
...and now get your things together and use realistic delivery dates on your frames. I'm still waiting for the shipment of my frame. ...and postponed again to next monday - allegedly a problem with the anti slip paint on the seat post.. will keep updating June 27, 2025, 03:48:19 AM |

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Some close up photos of the AERO GRAV build we had at Euro Bike. We can confirm that the fork on this build is not the production fork for this frame and it will indeed be the one on our website without eyelets.

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Here are some random pics I made: https://imgur.com/a/fLUfCTs I had a hard time measuring the rear tire clearance because my caliper was acting up. I got a reading of 57mm at the rear, but I wouldn't take that number as definitive. It wasn't easy to tell which part would be most likely to make contact first since the tires mounted were tiny and only 32mm wide. They told me it might fit a 2.1" tire. The front fork has an inner width of 70mm. The guy at the outdoor booth was very nice and I had a great time chatting with him. Thanks for the beer! June 29, 2025, 12:25:36 PM |

Re: ICAN TT017 TT Bike Build
Update to the build. Winow bars now added. I have used a plate from an old set up along with the custom 15 degree angle adapters. The mono riser has the 10 degree angle and then the plate has 15 degree angle adapters, so 25 degrees in total. The mono riser has an opening so the cables can easily exit this and up into the Winow bars. Much more aero and comfortable than the stock standard. I will email ICAN again to show them what people want and see if they take it onboard. June 30, 2025, 12:33:32 AM |
